| Answer: | not sure what you mean, there is a straw system, the straw is coming out the top of the cap and you drink through that. there should be straw inside the bottle also, if i remember correctly, which draws water up. there is a twist lock function, if water isnt coming up through the straw twist the cap to open the valve. |

While LDPE does not contain BPA, it may pose risks of leaching estrogenic chemicals, similar to HDPE". I guess it is safe to use since we drink milk from carton containers everyday.
