Answer:	It is part of it. Mine was rolled up in the very bottom with the rain cover.

Answer:	Kind of a trick question - a triple XL heavy coat for Alaska is larger than a small heavy coat for Texas. With that said, yes, you could fold a heavy large (for Colorado) coat in the pack pocket. That still leaves about half the space open (front large pocket and a bunch of smaller pockets).
Question:	Will this work with a crossbow
Answer:	Every crossbow is different shaped. I have a Ravin R29X - which has a tall scope and deep handle. It doesn’t work great for that crossbow, but it may for other models. I bought it with the same thought, but it didn’t work out. The pack is still a really good pack - I just carry my crossbow separately now.

Answer:	There’s no need to detach the backpack, on this type of pack. You might want to look for a different pack. I do recommend this pack for hunting. Several pockets and room, plus straps for your meats.

Answer:	Over dimensions are 20" tall X 12 1/2" wide X 4+ " deep. These are approximate. There are three compartments; Lower is 12" wide X 6" tall X 3" deep. Middle is 9" wide X 7" Tall X 4" deep. Upper (or large compartment) is 12" wide X 19" tall X 6" deep. This one has a small zippered mesh pouch on the front and a pouch on the back that will accommodate a hydration pouch or other small items. Answer:	After I looked up the meaning of a bug out bag, I would say no. I think you would want more pockets. I was using this bag for trail work and it was just fine for that. I could carry a saw and loppers on the side using a chain saw protectors as pockets and a lot of small tools inside. If you do a search on the internet using "bug out bags" you will find a lot of good information.

China did an excellent job and everything is double stitch + has bar tacking at all the stress points. The 1 zipper goes from the left, over the top and down the right side so now you just lay the pack flat. I have my tent folded up and the rods fit inside so i have NOTHING hanging off the pack. Unlike a top loader, I don't have to dig half of my items out because when I lay it open. inside are many zippered pouches.. If you need more then this then consider the 5.11 56L pack. Answer:	It's a really big pocket that runs the length and width of the bag on the inside of the main part of the pack. I use a 2L bladder and there's plenty of extra room. I would bet a 3L would be just fine.

Answer:	I use this one a lot in the tree stand and my ground blind. easy to access my gear. I have packed out a decent amount of meat in the main compartment as well. Had to make a few trips to get everything back to my truck. The rain fly is orange, which makes it pretty hard for me to hunt turkeys when its wet out, but its great to pull over the bag when I am walking to a stand or small game hunting during deer season. My waist clips on this broke real quick, thats my only complaint so far. I also use a Tenzing pack, which I like more than this one, but for different reasons.
