Answer:	I bought and used this top and the matching thermal pants last winter. Excellent material, soft not scratchy and very very warm! It held up beautifully. Most womens clothing items last one season due to poor cheap fabrics. I did not notice any wear and expect it to last multiple seasons. I washed on gentle and hung them inside out to dry as one should with wool fabric. Dried overnight without issues.

Question:	Some other wool socks I have make my feet sweat like crazy. How are these w/ moisture
Answer:	I'd recommend these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YNFZOC... for a sock that will extend over the top of the boot, and stay up on your calf.I've tried every single tall quality sock offered by amazon (2014) and those are the best.
Question:	Are these machine washable
Answer:	Been machine washing these for 2 yrs with Tide Pods AND electric dryer with no problems. They get snug after the drying but no more than putting on a new sock. Cycling through a dozen pairs, I think “1” sock has one hole in a non critical area (darn it!)
Question:	Will these work for Western boots with an 11" shaft? Anyone wear them with cowboy boots
Answer:	The socks are beautifully fitted, stretchy, and breathable. I am a 7 shoe size and they are perfect. So I would guess yes.

Answer:	If by cushion you mean thickness... it's a 1-2

Answer:	These socks are on the thinner side but not too thin.
Question:	How do these socks compare to Smartwool
Answer:	Funny- thought these were Smartwool and happy to see they reinforced toes and heels as Smartwool always wore out there! Love these socks - Not Smartwool
Question:	Will these socks stay up on munchies legs are do they become loose and fall down
Answer:	I have never had a problem with these falling down. To give some context, I wear size 7 or 7-1/2 in shoes, 1 size up for boots. That being said, these socks are great everyday and/or dress socks but I would not consider them suitable for hiking or for long runs. I have worn them to exercise classes, jogging and short runs of no more than 5 miles with no issues, but I generally prefer to save these for everyday because they are so soft and pretty. Ymmv.
Question:	Are these preshrunk so I can wash them in the washer
Answer:	I don't believe they are preshrunk. You can wash them in the washer. We washed them in cold water and dried them without a problem. They shrank a little bit, but not much. My daughter didn't notice much of a difference after washing.

Answer:	Yes they are soft, not like 100% wool very comfortable not itchy.

Answer:	Maybe Large? I Can tell you that these are incredible socks. The merino wool is very soft and comforting; the stretch factor is amazing; and they machine wash and dry well with very little shrinkage.
