Answer:	Hi - for me so far, it latches and stays latched fine without it being locked-it's not a hair-trigger at all. The caveat would be that there is some possibility of accidentally brushing against the latch (it's a pry-type from its top) and causing it to open. I never lock mine, but it doesn't "move around" a lot either. Hope this was helpful.

Answer:	Yes it does have a pad for your shoulder, and its adjustable too. It's a lot like the pads on a Rebel, or Canon camera carrying bag. Also the pad has nice gripping texture on one side, which reduces any extra sliding around when you're wearing it while walking. No worries though, the texture isn't like Velcro so it wont grab your clothing.
Question:	Do you have undo the buckles on the outside flap in order to access the inside or can those metal devices under the buckles be released
Answer:	The buckles are for decoration. There are easy metal snaps under the buckles. This bag has a very professional look and plenty of Zippers and pockets inside. Quality is much better than I expected
Question:	Does this bag expand well or is it rigid? (i.e. If i stuff a bunch of thick books and files in here, will it accommodate
Answer:	The bag is really flexible but the space inside is not huge as there are cushions for the laptop. Personally, given I use it at work where I do not carry books but a few papers is pretty good and I am more than happy. It really depends how many books you want to carry. I would say, comfortably it can accommodate 3 200 pages A4 soft cover books plus files but still it is something I haven't tried.

Answer:	There is no fastening. The flap is long enough so it is not necessary. I was very pleased with the quality and my nephew loves it.

Answer:	NO! I have a Toshiba Satellite C55A and it does NOT fit. It measures exactly 15 inches across. You have to angle it and it bulges out at the sides and will not accommodate a sleeve.
Question:	is this bag waterproof
Answer:	All natural leather readily absorbs water, even raindrops. There are many things on the market to preserve or waterproof leather. Mink Oil (lanolin & silica) is a good preservative and is water resistant. For true waterproofing, get Sno Bol, (made from beeswax) it is perfect. Apply it to your leather shoes (and soles) and your feet will never feel wet again. Perfect for a dry day in work boots under the worst conditions. Be forewarned though, in the process it will definitely darken the leather. You should test it first if that bothers you. The effect is darker, richer, softer, a satiny sheen, an aged effect. The differences between imperfections and good leather will be accentuated. All that and weatherproof too, What more could you want? How to?: Turn your oven on to it's lowest setting (about 150 degrees), Cover everything leather with a good layer of sno bol, Turn oven off, Pop in the oven for about 15 minutes, (This will cause most or all beeswax to soak into the leather Rub off all excess wax and polish the leather. It should look that satiny sheen. If it feels too waxy, repeat the oven to polish steps again with no wax. This does not interfere with leathers nat.'al ability to 'breath'. You work shoe men will appreciate that.

Answer:	Thank you for your message. The briefcase is made of full-grain Italian cow leather, leather is dyed by hand. You can realize it once the bag arrives. You will be able to see imperfections on the leather which indicates its full-grain also inconsistency in color which means it’s dyed by hand and not machines. Inside the bag, it’s written Vera Pelle (real leather) and genuine leather (real leather). We wrote genuine leather inside to emphasize the bag is made of real leather it does not stand for a specific type of leather (full grain) it’s just a general description. Once you receive the briefcase you will shortly understand it’s made of full-grain leather it gets patina over time. You can ask some experts and they will confirm the same. Answer:	I am 5'6" and the strap can be adjusted at both end to hang cross body, well past my hips. My son is 6'2" and when fully extended it fits him comfortably at the hip cross body. You're not out that much money, and it is a useful bag. It should be sturdy enough to last. The only problem is the main flap "buckles" are cosmetic. They are actually those magnetic clippy things, and might not be as secure as you would like. but with the weight in the bag, they may be just fine.

Answer:	The leather is definitely homemade but it is not dark as the picture. I was told that leather darkens as it ages so please don't expect a dark textured bag. I hope this helps you! You will love the bag!

Answer:	It is not waterproof in the way plastic or oil inpregnated. It is natural leather which will shed water but will absorb a portion too. The case will keep water off your stuff in the rain but not a flood.

Answer:	I just measured mine, and the main compartment is about 11 inches by 17 inches, conservatively measured. There is a bit of stretch to it, so you could probably squeeze just your laptop in there, but I am fairly sure it would not fit with any kind of sleeve or bag on it (unless it's really snug and thin.) The bag is plenty deep, 3 inches or so.

Answer:	No, the bag has an adjustable shoulder strap and a handle for hand carrying. The shoulder strap is adjustable. I don't think that adding additional holes for shortening the shoulder strap would make the strap sufficiently short enough to slide over the handle of a suitcase or carry-on bag.
