Answer: The size is either .... I haven’t re-checked specs .... but I believe either 8 or 10 inches for the lure. When you put a ballyhoo onto the hook it will become longer. Final length will depend on the size of the ballyhoo you choose to use ... I.e. small, medium, large, or select? I think medium or large may be best choices to use.
Question: what size hooks do i need for these lures
Answer: You can use a variety of hooks based on your preference maybe from a 7/0 to a 9/0 or 10/0 hook ..... since targeting big game (tuna, marlin, etc) .... must be strong/magnum hook. I use Mustad 7691DT hooks in a 8/0 with this particular setup. I think the Mustad 7691DT are the best hooks for trolling for big game! Good luck.
