Answer:	As described by Pat N. I twisted off caps of 2 bottles no prob and since have been removable by hand. I found variations on simple recipes for refilling thru multiple sources after Googling Swiffer Refill Recipes : 1.32 oz cleaning vinegar per 42.2 oz Swiffer Bottle - or - 1 cup white vinegar - or - a capful or so of ammonia* then, 1 cup distilled or at least filtered water (since tap water usually contains mineral content that could eventually clog those teeny WetJet spray nozzles) ( *never bleach; too fume-y and corrosive for floor-wide cleaning, and Never Mix bleach w/ ammonia - that makes chlorine gas. Watch '1917' to see why) 3-5 drops dish soap For Reference : Large Swiffer Bottle = 42.2 oz = 0.33* gal (42.2 oz divided by 128 oz(aka 1 gal) = 0.3296, or 0.33* rounded) Great Value Cleaning Vinegar instructs "Mix 1/2 cup (4 oz) per gallon of water." So, 4 oz x 0.33* = 1.32 oz (aka, about an ounce & a third) per Large Swiffer Bottle. Hard to measure such a precise amt w/ a small liquid medicine dosing cup marked in milliliters @ 30 mL max (aka 1 oz-ish), so I poured about a dosing cup and a half or so. Being the fearless ar-TISTE that I am. Good Cleanz!

Answer:	Yes It's placed on the handle but on the very bottom by the mop. And. You probably have to empty the bottle first. I never seen just an empty on for sale.

Answer:	I have had my swifter wet jet about 18 months and used it 1-2 times a week. It has. It worked well until today. Light works but will no squirt fluid. I changed batteries, new bottle and pad. Still does not work. I am elderly and widowed, live alone and take good care of my equipment. What do I do next. I store I bought it from went out of business

Answer:	Yes, soak part of the neck and the cap in hot/boiling water for 10 minutes. Open as usually. Snip/slice off the remaining plastic stubs to make opening and closing easier. If you have hard water use a vinegar solution as a cleaning liquid or occasionally pour 1/4 cup vinegar into bottle and jet a few times, let sit, and repeat. Vinegar will keep the nozzles from getting clogged up.

Answer:	I mix a couple of tablespoons of vinegar with water in the reservoir and then spray mop. I don't moisten the mop head. This is the best spray mop I've used.

Answer:	The Freedom® Spray Mop microfiber replacement pad is 15.38” x 5.13”.

Answer:	Put the stick horizontal and parralell to floor and to mop head . Position the twisty connector right above where it's supposed to go. Then put your weight on it and push. The rotating part when pushed to on side locks so it won’t move.. Line it up with the head and put your foot on it and step slowly applying your weight.. It will snap in.. there is a locking mechanism on one side just looks like a slightly raised piece of plastic. Push the head pivot ball until it clicks & locks. Align the stick with the head & wearing shoes gently step on it.

Answer:	There is nothing in the instructions about using the mop on hardwood floors, BUT I would not use this type of mop/spray on valuable hardwood floors.

Answer:	I bought mine after putting nice Shaw laminate flooring all thru my house. I got tired of buying expensive cleaning sprays and bought the libmans and use vinegar and water in the reservoir. There is nothing in this mop pad that could scratch a laminate floor, unless maybe you're sloppy and don't put the pad on straight and the part the pad attaches to hits the floor. I've never had that happen and i've been using it for over a year. Do not saturate the floor.. just spritz it and go.

Question:	An you use this on wood? Put any liquid in there
Answer:	Please, PLEASE DON'T USE MURPHY'S OIL SOAP on any wood floor. I own a flooring store so I have experience with ton's of different types of wood flooring. It will damage the finish on the wood after using over time. It will start lifting the finish off the floor. It will also start leaving a residue after a few times. If it is furniture - use Murphy's oil soap, but not on wood floors! Use only what the wood floor manufacturer recommends. If it's raw wood floors and finished in the home you can use a very small amount (2 Tablespoons) to a gallon of water. Use the smallest amount of water possible and make sure it is dry in a few minutes. Dry it off with a dry mop head if needed. Do not let the water sit there.

Answer:	I’ve been using white vinegar mixed with water- read somewhere this was a good solution- it’s been working well for me. With 3 grandchildren; 1, 3, 5 and the 1yo crawling, i mop Evert night with The vingers solutiion and Sunday’s I use a regular Tile cleaner. Vinegar solution is 1tbsp per canister of water. Others have used 1tsp per canister. You can play around with your own mixture; whatever works for you.
