Question:	When i fish clear water should I use a leader on the gray color or no
Answer:	I use a fluorocarbon leader with the braided line in clear water and attach it with an Alberto knot. Attach the braided line to the fluorocarbon, not vice versa. Also, some species aren't as "gut shy" as others - i.e. trout are "gut shy" and catfish not so much.
Question:	What pound test is good for small lake bass fishing? #20? or #15 would be good enough? Is it good for bait caster rod? Thanks a lot
Answer:	I fishing clear water so I run 15# braid to 10# floro leader. I target bass and have had zero issues with that selection. Sometimes when the fish are finicky I drop a couple pounds on the floro leader. All I use is baitcasters and it casts great. Never had an issue with picking out an occasional backlash.
Question:	Are there issues of the color leaching off the KastKing onto leading lines? This'll be reel backing and don't want it to bleed onto fly line
Answer:	I use nothing but KastKing braid now. Best braid I’ve ever had. Landed a 200lb sand tiger shark on the beach using 50lb kastking braid. But I have to say.... the color wears off quick. Gets on my hands. But well worth it for the price! I will never go back to Power Pro!
Question:	Hello how are you? Is the 15LB (0.14mm) equivalent to 12LB Mono? Is that correct
Answer:	are you going bass fishing? with that 15 pound? even though i wasnt happy with the spec they gave out. in general braided line is much better than mono. im guessing the breaking strength would be like around 10 to 12 pounds for a 15 pound braided line. so i would buy a slighter stronger line to be safe.and also you should tie on mono leader so in case your line got stuck on something the mono would break first and you wont lose your whole braided line.if your using a 15 pound braid ,put on a 10 pound monon leader. and the mono also gives the line some stretch so you don't rip the hook out of fish mouth. ps. these braided line are still much thiner than the mono line what you would buy. but if you want real high quality braided line i would buy power pro braided line. they have some really thin fishing line. like a 20 pound mono is equivalent a 45 pound test braided from power pro. however, these line are much more expensive.

Answer:	I use PP for all my freshwater rods. 10PP WILL NOT BREAK. I never had one break. Yes, I've had pickerel chew thru it, but that's all. Furthermore, the line never wears out, ever! I've had line(s) where I've tied several lengths together and fished it for years and STILL not had a mishap. The only downfall I can say is; it knots up easily. Once knotted, it's just about impossible to untie.

Answer:	Best is a PALOMAR knot. Do NOT let lines cross each other around swivel/snap/snapswivel/etc. 2nd best knot is a uni-knot. Best way to attach hook with offset/down set eye is with a snell as it holds the hook point in line with line. An egg-loop (snell) is even better since it will help hold bait secure to hook shank. A hook with an in-line eye can also be snelled, but do not go through eye so hook hangs straight. To increase line capacity of reel (i.e. tuna/billfish), put 300yds to 500 yds of braid ( 1.5 times test of mono on spool, then attach monofilament with a spectra knot (bimini twist on spectra, then attach mono to bimini with an albright knot).

Answer:	10/160 means 10lb strength you can put 160 yards on the reel. So the first number is strength in pounds the second number is how many yards the reel can take. Metric would be 4.5 kilograms/146 meters

Answer:	I have had this yellow backing on my fly reel for about 6 months. I have not noticed any bleeding or fading at all in about twenty or so uses. I have this backing on a 4 weight outfit that I use for panfish so I have never had a fish take me into the backing.

Answer:	Since this is only backing, no it isn't a floating line. It's not coated and will sink unlike the main fly line, assuming that it is a floater.

Answer:	There are three brands of braided backing on my tying bench - SF, SA, and Cortland - none specify diameter, only strength and length of the line.

Answer:	it depends on your fly reel. all fly reels are not equal. I have a 7/8 wght fly reel and end up only using maybe not even half of the 30lbs backing that I got. if you are not catching 30lb plus fish, go with 20lb backing. but if your reel is holds a lot of line than go with 30lb. hope this helps☺have a great day. this line is soft/strong & it benefits the fly line well.

Answer:	Hi Justin, Mega8 braid is going to ultimately be different than both of the lines you mentioned. It would however be more close to Superpower braid than the SuperKast 9.

Answer:	Hi, I would say either would work fine. The key is tying a good knot. I have thrown whopper plopper 130s on both 20 and 30 lb with a good palomar knot.
Question:	what are the diameters of the 10 20 and 30 pound lines
Answer:	I cannot speak for everyone but I loaded my line onto a casting reel and the next day the line snapped on the hook set of a nice fish. In 50 years of fishing that has never happened to me. I examined the line looking for any possible damage and could find none. I was very hopeful for a positive experience with but was very disappointed with the results. I went back to tried and true mono after that.

Answer:	Absolutely. It is especially good on spinning reels. My wife constantly complained about her spinning reel line snarling up. I installed suffix 832 and the complaints have almost disappeared. The reel twisting continues somewhat, of course on spinning reels, but the tendency to snarl the line off the front of the reel is minimized.

Answer:	It depends on the reel you are using. If the max drag is les than 40 lbs them yes. Assuming you aren't going for 400lb grouper. You need a strong drag and plenty of line strength to keep th from running into a hole and cutting you off. With a regular feel and Noah size fish you should be ok but braid is so thin why not go with 65?

Question:	What is the length of each color section
Answer:	Most certainly YES! I use this "Day-Glo Green" for just about every type of bass fishing but where it excels is when the fish are barely hitting as you can easily see the line jump/move at the slightest bite. The only thing is to learn how to tie EXCELLENT knots (look up braid to fluorocarbon knots online) and use at least a 4-6' leader...though I usually tie on at least 12 feet of leader material as I'm able to trim the leader without winding up with too short a leader, if that makes sense. -Kirk
