Question:	Will this work with a vanguard sbh-100 ball head? a reviewer said he used a 1/4-20 standard screw. where on amazon can i get this screw
Answer:	I brought this clamp exactly to replace the one on my Vanguard ballheads to make them Arca-Swiss compatible, both the SBH100 and SBH250. The only issue is the Vanguard clamp design has a "male" tap for alignment and rigid interface. This Desmond clamp has a female alignment slot instead. I went ahead and installed it on my ballhead and tighten the screw as tight as possible. The allen head type helped because I can really torque it down. The Desmond clamp sits on the Vanguard ballhead stem with no movement. The Vanguard ballhead stem use a 3/8-16 female tread. You can use a insert adapter and use a 1/4-20 screw instead. Both screw types are available at Homedepot or Lowes. Make sure you get the "Flat head" type and no more than one inch long. Or, you can search Amazon for Desmond and other suppliers who do offer the screw you need. Good luck.

Answer:	I don't know but it is a generic design. It needs a either 3/8-16 or 1/4-20 flat head screw to mount it. The bubble leveler is installed with two hex screws which can be removed to give you more clearance. The clearance to the side is 0.99 inch without the bubble leveler. To include the bubble leveler adds another 0.57 inch. This is the "Fixed" side. The clamp side is 1.08 inches when the clamp is fully closed. The knob adds another 1.05 or a total of 2.13 inches. The long sides are symmetrical and it is 1.18 inches. If your crane has a either 3/8-16 or 1/4-20 female tread and clear all four sides, you should be able to install this on your crane. If you like Desmond clamp, the 50mm DAC-X1 is only 62mm square. it may give you more clearance. I installed one on my Sirui P-326 monopod on top of a Vanguard SBH-100 ball head.

Answer:	The clamp is compatible with some, but not all, Arca Swiss plates. No fault of SmallRig, but various manufacturer plates are not machined to the same tolerances. To their credit, the SmallRig seems to be best-of-class. For instance, the clamp will secure both Really Right Stuff and Kessler Kwik Plates, both superb products. I also like Joby brand X-ball, which claims to be Arca Swiss compatible, but Joby plates cannot be secured in the SmallRig clamp, though I believe the Joby clamp on X-ball will secure the SmallRig plate included on this tripod. FWIW - lever-action clamps seem to require a lot more precision than screw-lock clamps like this one. So a Really Right Stuff Arca Swiss screw lock clamp may secure a Joby plate, but a Really Right Stuff lever-lock clamp will not work with the same plate. I'm a big fan of Really Right Stuff purpose-built Arca Swiss camera plates, which are specific to each model of camera. I buy one for every camera I purchase and never remove it since they form fit the camera body, do not twist or loosen, and do not protrude or snag inside the camera bag. This little SmallRig tripod works great with Really Right Stuff Arca Swiss Plates, and by extension, also Kessler which is always designed and built to a high standard. Other makes of plates, your milage may vary because with Arca Swiss, tiny tolerances seem to make all the difference, and what should work does not always clamp securely.

Answer:	As long as your GoPro has a tripod adapter it will work .The tripod uses standard 1/4-20 thread, so the camera should just screw right on.
Question:	How many positions can you adjust the legs to
Answer:	They don’t lock at all so essentially you have all the way open or closed and even if all the way open - it still isn’t locked. If you have an especially sticky surface that can grip the feet maybe you can open it less but it’s not like a large tripod with multiple locking positions - there is no legs out / flat option. They stop at about 30° (ever so slightly more open than the picture). Hope that helps. The non locking legs was a big issue for me and is my only really complaint about this tripod.
