If you submerge your hand(s) too far, water will rush into the glove(s).

Answer:	Probably. But I disliked them because the lining would pull back in the fingers when you pulled them off. Then when you tried to put them back on your fingers would not go to the end... couldn’t get them all the way on without working the lining back up into the fingers

Answer:	The waterproof neoprene coating is only the black palm area and the darker lime green area on the back of glove. The lighter green area on the palm side is about 1 and1/4" to the black cuff is a elastic cuff that I would call "water resistant" and extends to about 2 and 1/2" inches on the top side. I use these gloves mainly to protect my hands when washing my vehicles in the winter to knock the salt off of them and they do a good job of keeping my hands dry and warm.

Answer:	These are wonderful for photography. As all outdoorspeople know, mittens are much warmer than gloves, and bare fingers are better than gloves for operating fine equipment. Here we have the best of both worlds, and switching takes about one second. They are also well made. I have 30 years of experience in bitter cold, and these are the best mittens I have found for photography, by far.
Question:	Are these gloves suitable for photographing in cold weather
Answer:	Since they are men's sizes, they recommend going down one size for women. But since you wear a women's small already you will need to order the small. Look at the glove size chart they provide in the pictures. It shows how to measure your palm. The small size shows the width in inches is 6.25 - 6.75". I hope that helps you.
