If I happen to have to replace my cartridge and stylus it would cost probably $100 or more, especially if I upgrade. That’s more than my dad paid for that entire stereo. In addition, some of my new records cost $30 or more. So, for me, my gel stylus cleaner is money well spent, and I delight in its benefit. |

This is how I use the gel pad to clean my needle on my Fluance table. (Although on the Fluance I can remove the headshell from the tonearm which makes it easier). |

I bought it to hold rifles during cleaning because it is plastic and chemicals won’t necessarily hurt it and will clean off easily with solvent. IMO it is WAY too light and flexible for use as a bench rest. Won’t grip the stock tight enough for that. Can’t do better than a Lead Sled for a bench rest. I wouldn’t recommend it for serious smithing either. With that said, I’m happy to have purchased it for my intended purpose - rifle cleaning. |

The Webley has been in my family since World war II and this is the only product that has been used on it since... the original oil by my family was actually taken from a captured German soldier. These old air rifles and some new ones have leather on the end of the piston as a seal and this product keeps the leathers in perfect shape. I have actually used it to rejuvenate old air guns that would no longer work because of hard dried leathers. |

So technically cents still have both Zinc and Copper today, and also had both Zinc and Copper back in the day between 1962-1982. | Answer: | I have used both Ballistol and Break-Free on firearms for over 20 years. The Ballistol is a superior product. It is non-toxic and does a better job of preventing corrosion. It is also a superior bore cleaner and when mixed 50/50 with water it can be used to clean residue from corrosive ammo and black powder firearms. Try that with a petroleum based solvent like Break-Free and you will end up with a ruined firearm. |

| Answer: | I have only serviced my AR's on mine, have yet to remove/install a barrel nut but believe it wouldn't be a problem. I have a buddy who's a fully qualified AR Custom Builder, whom of course owns way higher and expensive equipment in his shop but when he saw my Tipton Standing Ultra Vice he was also of the opinion installing/removing barrel nuts should be feasible with this vice. You may already know this but the legs fold up and out of the way, exposing all four L corners with reinforced pieces for bench mounting so for more rigidity in a shop environment you also have that as an option if the long legs produce to much "wiggle" or movement. It probably be a good idea to contact Tipton Direct and ask. |

| Answer: | Yes! Although only for long guns. Bolt action works super. Semi auto, works very well. I’d suggest you get the part that I believe is an option which is the part that can fit inside your magazine holder on the semi. Plus it’s great to clean any firearm. I was worried too about buying this. Very happy I did. Oh, and I did get the one with ‘legs’ - not certain if you’re considering that. Without the stand being at ‘waist’ high level - I don’t believe it will help you sight in a long firearm. I use mine at home for cleaning and to get a very close ‘center’ but if you can take it to a range, it’s a piece of cake to center. Just need to try your best to keep the rifle from moving post firing. It will take 3-5 tries to center at 200 yards. 100 yards is much simpler. At the range I centered at 50 yards first. Then texted with a 20 mag (556), then 100. I suggest you bring a white sharpie so you can make a ‘dot’ just in case your rifle slips of center, then you check to make sure you know where the scope dials had you centered. Hope I made sense and helped. Last point, it is SO MUCH easier if you have a helper at the range while centering- it’s hard to fire AND at the same time confirm the rifle doesn’t shift a bit as you go through the process. I’ve used on my semi’s: 556 and 308. And my 6.5 Creed that is bolt :-) |

| Answer: | I haven't tried that, specifically, but judging from other things I have done, or couldn't do, I'd say this is probably too light duty. It works great for setting scope rings, cleaning, stock Dremeling, etc. It can't generate the pressure needed to hold through the application of greater force. The foam is a problem, but also its structure. It you apply too much torque to the handle, the arms that actually grip the object start to bend. I use an actual vise for heavier duty tasks. Having said that, I do still really like this vise and use it all the time. It just has its limits. Hope that helps |
