Answer:	Never tried, but I gave mine to Goodwill. I did not think the hot dogs were cooked enough. I also bought a toaster at the same time and it doesn't toast worth a darn.

Answer:	Yes, this is dishwasher safe. It both hand washes, and dishwasher washes beautifully. I purchased mine three or four years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed using it every day. Mine is of heavy porcelain and holds heat well, which, means on cold days, my coffee stays nice and hot. One of the nice things about this is that with mine, I can use the top part for the filter with other porcelain mugs. In looking at the picture, I'm not sure the top part is made exactly like mine so you will just have to see if your's can also be used with other mugs. Answer:	I just bought one of these at IKEA and went online to figure out the batteries. If you look at the top of the battery door, it shows "+" on one side of the cover and "-" on the other. That is exactly the way you put them in. You have to kind of push the first one under the cover and to the back (this is the one with the positive end up, toward you, and then slip in the other battery in the other direction, with the negative end up toward you. Works like a charm!
