Answer:	I do not believe so. I understand it has a lithium battery that has a long life. It appears you could replace the battery if necessary.

Answer:	This is exactly what I wanted. The only problem is the part that you attach it to youR belt/waistband, broke off after a while. I like this a lot because it’s not too big. I wish it was made with a different clip.
