Answer:	I don’t know. The magnet attaches to a spoke. It has to within 60cm of the computer and with in a 30 degree angle. It must be within 3mm of the sensor. See diagram/image.

Answer:	I have this working with the sensor on my rear wheel, but I had to move to computer from my front handle bars to underneath the seat on the frame. I can check my speed/mileage by looking down, but it isn't easy like glancing down at the handlebar. This isn't ideal, but it's fine because I'm on a stationary bike. I will move it to the front wheel when I return to biking outdoors.

Installation is very easy and just takes a few minutes.1;The magnet is mounted onto two spokes on the front wheel - using the built-in thumb screw. 2;The transmitter mounts to the front fork next to the magnet - it's attached to the front fork by two supplied wire ties. 3;The receiver clamps onto the handle bar using two supplied wire ties. To neaten it up, I trimmed off the excess wire tie ends using a wire cutter. Scissors or nail cutters will work if you don't have a wire cutter. 4;Since this is wireless, there is no cable required. 5; You program it to the size of your wheel, mph or kph, etc.

Answer:	We are using ours on a large area rug with no problem.

Answer:	I am unaware. I use mine up to 2 hours at a time.
Question:	How much clearance is needed between your knees and the desk
Answer:	It depends on how long your legs extend from pedal to knee. I would tell him how many inches the pedal is at its lowest point and then to add the measurement of his own lower leg to top of knee while in bent position.
