Question:	Would a 60m rope fit or is the 40m it's designed for already a tight fit
Answer:	I bought 2 of these, one for my Petzl 60m Static 10.0 rope and one for my chopped Sterling Marathon 9.8 (approx 50M) and it's tight but it fits. I prefer the smaller bag because the 70 M bag is really big, too big I think - my Petzl 70M does not fill up. I don't mind spending the extra 30 seconds to tightly stuff my rope into a smaller bag because it makes it easier to put in a top loader backpack. The picture honestly is what my static rope looks like in the bag a little more stuffed but not much. Lots of opinion - small topic.

Answer:	Yes! I jump rope indoors so I'm not sure how this would hold up jumping on concrete or another hard surface outside. I have used this rope probably 30 or so times for around 30 minutes each time and it has held up well.

Answer:	You would be MUCH better off using a modern synthetic line for arborist uses. Lighter, stronger, more abrasion-resistant, non-molding... I can't think of any reason to buy natural cordage. I don't know how much length you need, but I'd look strongly at dyneema/amsteel/uhmw polyethylene (different names for the same stuff) lines. 1" manila has a breaking strength of about 8000lbs. In contrast, 1/2" dyneema breaks at 32,000 lbs. It's very slippery and highly abrasion resistant, which would make it slide over branches easily. The only possible concern is that its slipperiness makes it not take normal knots as well... but proper knot choice solves that problem. Pick up the Ronstan Fid kit and learn to make a few splices and some soft shackles and you'll be in good shape. Stay safe up there!
