Answer:	I find it very comfortable on my joints... no need to fold the edges in...that being said, Im new at teaching a slow flow aerial class, so when I practice a class I can be on my knees a lot, sometimes I have a thin mat underneath when I finally teach it.. truthfully the more I teach, The less I need it, and it's strictly for my knees. When I take a class, aerial or regular yoga, I never need a second mat. I Hope that helps. I'm med stature, 5'8 155 lbs. I don't do handstands or full wt only on my hands poses.,

Question:	can i jump rope on this
Answer:	Hasn't moved at all for me, mine is on a hard tile floor and the bottom is a fine honeycomb-like texture. It does "ripple" up just a bit when I put outward pressure on it when stretching because the mat has some stretch in it, but it hasn't been a problem. It easily slides when you pull it to move it but it grips really well when you're standing on it.

Answer:	I've had the mat for almost a year now and it's still intact. I use it mainly for stretching, yoga routines and some floor exercises (i.e. sit ups, leg lifts, bridge and plank exercises, etc). The mat is very well cushioned and flexible so when you're on it, it doesn't feel like you're directly on the floor, unlike standard yoga mats. That said I would not recommend doing jumping jacks or any cardio workout on it, as the few times I've tried to do them it feels like the mat is stretching out underneath me, however, it has not torn or flaked. I just didn't like that it moved so much. Also this mat is not as long as a standard yoga mat, which is it's only downside. Hope this helps.

Question:	My mat has marks/indents on it from the strap straight out of the box. Do these marks eventually fix themselves or will it always be marked up
Answer:	We moved the straps to a different spot and about a week later they fill back in. My dd7 uses the mat so she just puts the straps on all messy and folded over. This makes her indents deep and not wide and hers fill back in.
Question:	is it big enough for ab workout/other exercises
Answer:	I'm 6' 5" male, this mat is exceptionally long. I do find that lying flat from top of the map to bottom the mat cuts off at about the ankles. I do lots of core/ab workouts on my mat the padding is thick enough to make it comfortable and large enough to perform crunches or other exercises on without my body making contact with the floor. I don't mind my heels hanging off on the rare occasion that they do because all other points of contact are on the mat.
Question:	Can anyone confirm the "anti-tear" claim? Does the mat, after several uses, began to shed/tear
Answer:	I purchased the GoYoga Exercise mat in January 2016 for physical therapy exercises. For the last year, I've used this mat every week (about 5 out of 7 days per week). I haven't had any problems with the mat shedding or tearing. At about 1/2" thick, this mat is more comfortable for doing PT exercises on than the thinner 1/4" exercise mats. Glad I bought it!

Question:	Is this mat relatively firm and smooth on top? Im considering using it as an "ocean" play mat for my child. Can a toy stand up on it
Answer:	One side of the mat has ridges on it, but they are small enough and close enough together that you could totally stand a toy up on it. I just laid mine out and was able to set nail polish and foundation bottles on it without them tipping over, so even something that small can stand up just fine. The other side of the mat is almost completely smooth. It has very shallow shapes indented in it, but they are not noticeable and would not cause toys to fall over at all. Cute idea, I think it will totally work!
Question:	Does hair stick to it? I'm a clean freak

Answer:	Just your average yoga mat except thicker
Question:	I would be using it for running in place, barefoot, on a hard basement floor. Is this a good mat for that
Answer:	Not sure of that. This mat is primarily good for having to be positioned on knees, or laying down and doing various exercises.Running, jumping jacks, etc may not be a good idea on the mat.
Question:	Is this good for sit-ups
Answer:	yes. especially for a cheap mat i've found it to be great. it gives enough cushion where you can't feel the floor on your back at all. the only complaint i can see people having is that the mat is a little small and it rolls back a lot because normally you roll it up after use. for me though, i just accept the fact that if i'm doing leg lifts or other exercises that require full body extension my feet might hang over the end. to me it's not a big deal and this mat is perfect for what i need it for. if it's just straight sit ups you're looking at and you're not 7 feet tall, you should be just fine.
Question:	How does this mat compare to the one P90X sells
Answer:	I am not familiar with the mat from P90X but the Hemingweigh xtra thick is a very good quality and comfortable mat for the price. I work in a fitness gym and I have not seen a better mat than the Hemingweigh in that price range.

Answer:	I don't know anything about a 'wave master' bag, but a punching bag would be fine on it. Would the mat be fine for the person using the bag? Yes, if they're not wearing shoes.
