User questions & answers
Question: | Could the pocket fit my Iphone plus |
Answer: | Not sure if it would fit a phone plus ,maybe tight, but it does have a hoodie style pocket that is pretty tight that you could get it it to . But the front pocket I would say no. But it is a great vest! Nothing bad to say. |
Question: | Is this the new 2020 ninja or the older model |
Answer: | I wouldn't know the difference between old and new. I used it for the first time today. I bought it to replace a larger, bulkier PFD that, when I sat in a kayak, the PFD would "ride up" into my chin. The Ninja is shorter in the waist and, when snugged firmly, stays lower on the chest. So far I like it. |
Question: | Would the Xxl fit a 5’7” man about 160lbs |
Answer: | I'm 5'7" and 150. I got the Sm/med and it fits me perfectly. The point of this style of PFD is to reduce the bulk. I bought this one to replace my old style of front zipper jacket, which was always riding up around my neck when I would sit in a kayak. I can wear the ninja lower and more snugly which gives me more arm and shoulder freedom of movement. Looks looks like that size may no longer be offered. I think an XXL may be too large for you. |
Question: | Women’s fit? Looking to replace my women’s stohlquist |
Answer: | I can't speak for women's fit, but I found the multiple fitting six-way straps to be very customizable and comfortable. Setting up the straps takes a little experimentation to get the right fit. With all PFDs comes some bulk, unless you're going with a CO2 charged model. I chose this brand because the bulk is confined to the lower front and rear of the jacket allowing you nearly complete free moment, keeping your sides open for great ventilation. There's also a convenient zip able carry pouch in from for your phone, wallet etc. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I got an xl size.it fits but looks very small, the bottom reaches just right under the chest.should i get xxl? i am 6'1'' 230 lb chest size |
Answer: | This is a floatation device and should work well for a 180lbs. person. I am over 200 and this fits me well. I have not been in the water with it though, so I can't say how well it floats a person. |
Question: | im a big guy, 2x shirt and 300 lbs. would this fit ok or should i look elsewhere |
Answer: | I'm 6'5 and 275 and even I needed to pull the adjustment straps pretty tight. Definitely made for a larger person. |
Question: | The Red vest on the product page is different than the red vest in the checkout page. Which page is accurate |
Answer: | Yes, it is rated for inland use I don't have the tag anymore or I would quote the class and rating but I remember double checking for lakes and rivers. Offshore I can't comment because I tossed the tag. |
Question: | Beer. Can any of these pockets hold a can of beer? Can't believe no one has asked this question |
Answer: | Yes, the pockets will fit a large cell phone but we recommend using a waterproof cell phone case as the pockets are not water tight. |
