You are not going to get -20 gear for under $175. |

If you are too hot/cold it's a bit of a process to connect/disconnect the two. Where I live it can be well below freezing in the morning and warmish in the afternoon and the jacket would be more "flexible" if you didn't have to reverse the inner jacket like this. |

Smith Optics seems to have kind of partnered with Skullcandy on the audio kit, and the audio kit that they are pushing with it is the "Single Shot" (or something like that). Anyway, the reviews on that unit are not great, though I must say I think that is the one I have and it works great for me. In any case, there are numerous kits that will work great. Just do a search for "helmet audio" and see what comes up. You don't want ear buds, or a set of head phones. Just look for the two little speakers that slip into the pockets on the ear flaps. Any reasonable facsimile of the Skullcandy ones should work. Good luck! I hope you find a great audio kit. I love mine and would recommend it to anyone that does not have audio in their helmet. |

It is very European cut so unless you are very slight in build I highly recommend going a size up if you want to wear a lining. I am a natural med/lg with average shoulders and chest and the large is really too small for me especially if I am wearing a heavy shirt underneath. Keep in min if you are trying to keep any part of you dry from the waist down this is not a good jacket! Columbia has some rain pants and I think this is the top for those. |
