User questions & answers

Question: can you use sep. effects petals, i have a volcal harminizer effects petal, can that be hooked up to my mic
Answer: Yes! It gives a clean sound, easy to carry, and loud enough for medium size places. I used these for church and they were perfect.
Question: Can I use it on 220V
Answer: 600 watts !!! No way, try to compare this with another amp such as Roland keyboard amp.I own a Behringer K1800FX, rated at 180 watts, same look and physical size as this one and I would say it delivers about 80 watts at most. This kind of output rating gives me lot of doubts about the manufaturers of lower quality brands (such as Behringer, Pyle, etc...). ROLAND, FENDER don't do that.
Question: Can I use this as a vocal amplifier/PA
Answer: I know this is an old question but my answer will apply to just about any amp with a stereo link. A stereo link allows you to connect another amp. The output sends the signal to another amp and the input receives the signal from another amp. Adding another KXD12 using the stereo link would give you a total of 8 channels to work with. I can also say that this will also function as a built in effects loop because I have used it that way.
Question: Is this amp mainly used for keyboards or acoustic guitars? What is it best suited for
Answer: Yes, this amp sounds nice for that. However, if you are looking for a LOUD amp this one might not be enough. I recommend you use a preamp or boost your output signal to the KXD12 for best results. It also works good when connected to a PA system. On a side note, I have had intermittent issues with the built in effects unit and the eq sliders are a bit delicate. Overall, for the money I paid, I’ve been happy with the KXD12.

Behringer Microamp HA400 Ultra-Compact 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier,Silver

Behringer

Based on 4 reviews Check latest price

Product description

If you're tracking more than one musician at once, or if everyone in a group wants to listen to a playback, you need a monitor distribution system. The compact, flexible HA400 can power up to four pairs of headphones and up to four independent volumes.

A Simple Solution

Grab this super-compact amp during your sessions to power practically any headphones--four of them at the same time, to be exact. This allows four people in your studio to listen to the main mix while recording, and each listener can determine their own volume level using the dedicated output level controls.

Quality Amplification

The HA400 contains 4 high-power stereo amplifiers that maintain the highest sonic quality even at maximum volume levels. These ultra-low-noise 4580 operational amplifiers are included for outstanding audio performance--the same op amps found in "full-size" audio equipment.

What's in the Box

Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amp, Power Adapter, User's Manual

  • Ultra-compact headphone amplifier system for studio and stage applications
  • 4 independent stereo high-power amplifier sections
  • Highest audio quality with virtually all types of headphones even at maximum volume
  • Phones Level control per channel
  • DC 12 V adapter included

User questions & answers

Question: Does this just split the audio, or does it actually "drive" headphones? If so, how many Ohms can it handle
Answer: No. This is an 8 channel headphone amp. It simply increases the response of multiple headsets used at one time, to boost the output of each headset in a recording studio setting.
Question: How do I use this with my laptop? I got male extensions but it doesn't seem to be working
Answer: We use inputs on the front of the panel and at the same time use some of the ins on the rear panel and it works fine. No issues with volume. Overall a good product for the small amount of money we paid for the item.
Question: is this just for volume control, or does it actually amplify bass, highs, lows, etc
Answer: Yes. Just run ear buds with an adapter
Question: does it come with the extender cord? compatible with M-Audio fast track - cord from the existing headphone jack to amp
Answer: Hello, to the best of my knowledge, a 220v version is not available in the US. I could not find a specification in the amplifier. A lot of power amps use universal power supplies that allows a voltage from 110 to 220 @ 60 or 50 Hz to be allowed. Usually that specification is marked on the amplifier at the AC input. I don’t see that on the power amplifier images. Hope this helps.

User questions & answers

Question: I need a preamp to run from my electric guitar to my behringer 1202fx mixer, will this work
Answer: First, I wanna say. This is the best guitar pedal I've ever owned. As a 1/4 in 1/4 out to amp, it Rocks! The low impedance out is a little noisey going to my r-16.(bummer) You may have luck with a gate in the chain. You should buy it, you'll live it!
Question: can you drive a cab with this as the only amplification
Answer: i think maybe you could, but this sort of pedal is probably better, plugged into a PA system or powered mixer, or as a DI box into a computer I/O. honestly, i don't think this would make for a great, 'amp head into a speaker cabinet'... but it might work...
Question: Does this work like the behringer adi21 v-tone acoustic driver , we use a acoustic guitar with a passive pickup
Answer: If you want the acoustic to sound like it's plugged into a guitar amp, then yes. If you use the clean mode with the low gain settings, you might get a usable tone. You can also use it as a 'pass thru' direct box when it's not in process mode.
Question: Would this be good to go out from the line out on my Bugera
Answer: As the V-Tone has a HI Z input, and the 333 has a LO Z line out, my first answer is likely no. But since it won't break anything, try it. You can also try plugging the guitar into the V-Tone and then into the FX return. You may need to put a dummy plug into the FX send jack to activate the loop.Just don't plug the speaker out into it. Bad things will happen. Very bad.

GDI21

  • This Behringer product has been designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market
  • Authentic V-TONE modeling technology for 3>
  • Provides a truckload of great amps in a single stomp box—simply choose your favourite sounds with a flick of a switch
  • Precise level and drive control plus musical 2-band EQ for ultimate sound

V-TONE GUITAR DRIVER DI GDI21

Our authentic V-TONE modeling technology recreates three of the most sought-after classic guitar amps, with three gain modes and three mic placements for a total of 27 possible configurations. You get a truckload of great amps in one convenient stomp box, allowing you to go from clean or crunch to super-fat distortion in a flash.

Extremely User-Friendly

Operation is simple; just choose the type of amp, from the smooth Calif (Californian), the bright, punchy Twed ( Tweed), or the Brit (British) with its incredible sustain and aggressive mids. Then select the gain mode, Cln (clean), Hot or Hi G (high gain). Lastly, choose the mic placement from the three available selections. This feature is a Behringer exclusive, allowing you to place the “virtual mic” in any of three positions: (OFF X)—At the edge of the speaker cone, producing a smoother, softer sound with less midrange content (CNTR)—Positioned at the center of the cone, for more upper mids and beefy low-end (CLSIC)—Slightly in front of the cabinet, for high midrange content with tons of definition

It’s a Tone Thing

We’ve also included a dedicated Drive control, for adjusting the amount of gain. This control effectively mimics the amount of push applied to the output stage of a tube amplifier, from a gentle nudge to full-out, tube-melting overdrive. Further tone shaping is provided by a highly musical 2-band EQ.

Versatility

The GDI21 can be used for direct recording output, with speaker simulation or, when used in bypass mode, as a superb active DI box. A 1⁄4" output jack is provided for connecting to your amp and the gold-plated, balanced XLR connector will link you cleanly to the front of house console. Ground loop problems are nonexistent, thanks to the onboard ground lift switch.

Sound Value

Whether you use it on the stage or for recording, the V-Tone Guitar GDI21 is the ultimate choice for musicians seeking an extremely versatile array of time-tested, classic tones. With the GDI21, you get the sound of three classic guitar amps and a superb DI box. Try one at your local Behringer dealer or order online today.

Behringer MiniFBQ FBQ800 Ultra-Compact 9-Band Graphic Equalizer with FBQ

Product description

Ultra-Compact 9-Band Graphic Equalizer with FBQ

If we all lived in a perfect world, there would be no need for audio equalization. Sound systems would be perfect and would reproduce perfect signals in all their glorious perfection. Also, everyone in that perfect world would like the same amount of bass, midrange and high frequency, and there would be no such thing as feedback. But the world isn't perfect, is it? Even the best sound system can benefit from the use of a good EQ--like the FBQ800.

Even the best sound system can benefit from the use of a good EQ. Click to enlarge.

1/4-inch and RCA inputs and outputs.

Nine steps of graphic EQ.

How Does it Work?

Imagine the frequency range of the sound you hear as a highway, a very wide one with nine lanes. Each of these "lanes" represents a single octave of the sonic spectrum. The first four lanes, labeled 63 - 500 (Hz) contain the really low frequency sound content, mainly bass, bass vocals, and the kick and tom drums. The three lanes labeled 1 k, 2 k and 4 k (Hz), make up the fundamental zone of most musical instruments and the male and female vocals. 8 k and 16 k cover the frequency range of cymbals, snare drums and higher pitched percussion instruments. The FBQ800 allows you to control the flow of audio traffic in each of these nine lanes. When properly applied, EQ makes it possible to hear all of these frequency ranges equally, thus the term equalization.

Feedback Elimination

When a specific frequency, or range of frequencies, reaches too high a level, feedback occurs--that all-too-familiar squeal or howl you get when the mic is too close to the speaker. Basically, feedback happens when there is so much of a particular frequency that it is picked up by the mic and run through the system again. That's why feedback typically gets louder and louder the longer it's allowed to occur. Needless to say, this kind of feedback is very undesirable.

This is where the FBQ800's Feedback Detection System really works its magic. In this ingenious circuitry, LEDs on the individual faders light up when that frequency band is approaching the danger zone. All you need do is lower the illuminated slider until the LED blinks out--voilá, feedback problem solved! What once required a highly trained ear is now an activity that even a child can master.

Sonic Toolkit

That really is the best way to describe the FBQ800. With its nine frequency bands, you easily fine-tune your sound and instantly eliminate feedback. And each fader can be used to boost or cut the frequency range it controls by as much as 12 dB (and that's a lot!).

Special attention is paid to the low frequency zone. In addition to low frequency faders, the FBQ800 features a Low Cut filter for removing unwanted low frequencies such as fl oor rumble, room resonance, electrical hum, etc. This is especially handy if your system is being used for speech rather than music.

To Boost or to Cut, That is the Question

Raising and lowering specific frequency bands can improve the frequency response of any room's acoustics. For instance, if the room you're in is "bass-heavy," lowering the 63 and 125 Hz faders can help eliminate an overall "boomy" or "muddy" sound. Likewise, gently boosting the 8 and 16 k sliders can add sparkle to a somewhat "dark" mix. Are the vocals getting lost in the mix? Raising the level of the 1 k slider can help bring them out.

It's important to note that raising a single fader level is not always the best solution; it's often better to lower the bands surrounding the frequency you want to bring out, and then boost the overall volume level to achieve better headroom.

Built for Accuracy and Reliability

Speaking of headroom, FBQ800's 6-digit LED Input/Output meters and level control are provided for precise level maintenance. Longterm reliability is ensured, thanks to high-quality illuminated faders and switches, and our ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers provide outstanding sonic performance. In addition, all Mini Series components may be stacked to create an ultracompact signal processing solution.

User questions & answers

Question: What type of cables are required to hook this up between an amplifier and yamaha receiver? Much appreciated
Answer: Both
Question: Can you adjust each channel (left/right) separately
Answer: Nope, the only things lit are the little indicator lights for power +/- 12dbs and something else.
Question: I see many mention that they use this for helping hearing loss by using this unit with headphones. My question is how do you use this with headphones
Answer: They are very clean sounding eqs.
Question: does it connect to amplifier
Answer: First, this is not a player. This is a tone control with instead of just the normal bass, treble and high, divides it into 31 (from 20HZ to 20KHZ). Also, this model is mono (1 channel). You can get 2 of these or get the stereo model. You still need an amplifier and a player. You hook this up between a like a CD player and your amp.

User questions & answers

Question: Can you plug straight into a passive speaker cab with this and get any sound
Answer: I would say that you might be able to plug into the FX Return of an amp and just use the power amp section. Otherwise, you would still need a clean power amp. I used to do that with my SansAmp BDDDI all the time.
Question: The led just flashes forever, changed the tube, thinking bad pedal
Answer: the LED should only flash until the tube is warmed up. Might want to try another tube. Did it keep flashing with the original tube?Bear in mined that I tried swapping a few tubes including NOS ones, and preferred the one it shipped with. YMMV...
Question: Its possible get a big muff violin like sound with this pedal
Answer: I don't think so. This pedal, amazing by the way, is an overdrive and gives you a good sustain but it's different than big muff's violin sound. The proposal and the sound are different because big muff is a fuzz pedal. It's architecture and circuits are different.
Question: Can this unit be used for harmonica playing also
Answer: Any overdrive pedal can be used to create an overdrive sound to a harmonica mic provided it's wired for a high impedance 1/4 phone jack. It should be noted that any mic used with overdrives or overdriven amps are more prone to feedback.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this pedal have reverse polarity
Answer: No... standard battery power source, mine is powered with a power block, standard in a pedal boards set up. Didn’t require anything special, as for its internal construction I’m in America so plug and play away, you will go through battery’s fast so get a power block some come as sets with everything you need including multiple voltage choices since certain pedals require specific power voltage. Play on...
Question: Can this be used with an acoustic guitar as well
Answer: Yes, If your acoustic guitar is equiped with an electronic pickup.
Question: Can get the distortion of Metallica's "...and justice for all" album with this, palm mute and everything
Answer: No, it's closer to snarly overdrives than that kind of thrash. You'd wanna try their ultra distortion or ultra metal pedals instead.
Question: Will this get the same effect as a tube screamer
Answer: No it won't. Better to buy a tube screamer for that. If you are on a budget the Joyo vintage overdrive will get you closer than this one.

User questions & answers

Question: Would this speaker be ideal for home karaokee for a room size 15'x
Answer: It has combo inputs, so you shouldn't need an adapter at all to use a 1/4" mono cable as your input.
Question: What kind of a adapter would I need to quarter inch mono cable
Answer: Because it is a stereo signal and a mono jack the signal gets messed up. You need a 1/8th inch (headphone jack) to DUAL mono 1/4 inch. Plug those into inputs 1 and 2 and turn the channels up equally. Then it will sound fine.
Question: I tried plugging in my phone with a 1/4inch trs to 1/8 inch aux cord and it sounded awful as if the music i was playing was mono..how can i fix this
Answer: No, it is not battery-powered.
Question: Is it battery powered
Answer: You can plug anything you'd like into re 205, but I wouldn't recommend using it for a bass amp. Could be used as a low power practice amp.

User questions & answers

Question: can i use this to hook up my 6505+ to my m-box
Answer: If you have the combo version, it has an XLR out already, so no DI required. The head version doesn't seem to have this option, so you could use the preamp out, but I'm not sure if you could hear a difference between using a DI or running the 1/4" into the line level input of the M-Box. You'll lose the tone you get from the power amp tubes either way. The main point of a DI is to convert a 1/4" instrument signal to a balanced XLR signal if you're going into a stage snake. Effectively running a 50' or 100' 1/4" cable will generally introduce noise and reduce signal quality, so the DI is a great option. I've used this passive DI box in live situations for the past year, and it's worked like a champ. I run my tracks (from an iPod) through it.
Question: Can this reduce a speaker level signal to a line level signal? E.g. if I wanted to take a speaker level and connect it to a mixer
Answer: YES. The other answers are not accurate. This device as well as many other DI Boxes can make a Line Level 'copy' of the high power signal going to a speaker. This is a common use however this yes comes with a major caveat. The source (1/4 " INPUT) can be a highly amplified signal, such as the speaker output of a 100W guitar amplifier. The output signal (XLR OUTPUT) will be what the mixer wants (Line Level). CAVEAT: There must be a load connected to the THRU (Parallel OUT on this device). This load can be a speaker or speaker load simulator, basically what you would normally connect to the amp. Without a load connected, no signal flows and nothing will be output. Worse yet, without a load connected, many amps will fry. Amp to DI box to Speaker(1/4" OUT) and Mixer (XLR OUTPUT) is commonly used by guitarists. This allows the PA Mixer or Recording Audio Interface to get all the good sound that the guitar signal chain has built, only missing coloring from the speaker cabinet. If needing your speakers to be silent while still getting a good output on the XLR, adding a decent amp Attenuator or Load Simulator after the DI Box can reduce the power reaching the speaker to or near zero. Note: Many higher end Attenuators and Load Simulators have a built in DI Box.
Question: I want to record digital piano and play live at church. Should I get Pyle-Pro PDC21 for $8 or is this significantly better
Answer: A normal DI box is $50 so I wouldn't go too much lower than this. These seem to work well. I've only had one go bad in the past year or so and I purchased like 8 for my church.
Question: Does this work for connecting the sound output from a PC or MP3 player into a PA system using a Stereo 1/8" TRS to Mono 1/4" TS cable
Answer: Yes that should be fine! :) You would also need an XLR to connect the DI Box to the PA.

Directly to the Point

With its parallel ¼ " In and Out jacks, the DI400P allows you to plug in your instrument and send the same signal to your onstage amplifier, while the XLR Output sends a balanced signal to your mixer. Question: Does the wave form gradually by dial or is it a hard cut

Question: Does it have push button switch to activate with your foot
Answer: Hi… The whole bottom half of the panel is a switch right below the model number not a little button but a wider foot thing that you hit with your foot
Question: I need an adapter or already included? What else do I need to use this product
Answer: Amazkn sells three different power supplies. You can use standard 9 volt alkaline batteries, rechargeable 9 volt batteries, an ac adapter, a daisy chain adapter, or an isolated power supply. I would suggest that you carefully consider each option. First, will this be your only pedal. Second, how often are you planning on using it. Third, how long do you plan on running it with each use?? If this is guaranteed to be your only pedal, you would be okay with a 9 volt battery or a 9 volt adapter. If you only plan to use the pedal for a few songs each use, a battery may be your best option. You may want to consider a rechargeable so you can have power that is renewable. For constant use, you may want to consider a 9 volt adapter. You don't want your battery to go dead on stage. If you plan on getting several pedals, you may want to consider a daisy chain. A daisy chain will allow several pedals to be linked to one nine volt adapter. If you are a performing musician, I would place serious consideration on an isolated power supply. I use one of these. An isolated power supply puts each pedal on a separate circuit. If something happens to a circuit for one pedal, the rest of your pedals will be unaffected. With a daisy chain, if one wite breaks, every pedal downstream loses power.my power sullpy has resettable breakers for each output.
Question: v batteryincluded
