Answer:	I have washed the lid and straw in the dishwasher multiple times (top rack) without issue. I can't speak to the water bottle itself because I have stickers on it so I wash that part by hand.

Question:	Will this work with Lemon or other acid based fruits used for flavoring? I've heard several water type bottles don't handle this very well
Answer:	It will be fine. Most of what I put in my 40 oz. bottle is Seltzer water, a soda with a pH of somewhere around 2-3.5, which is close to lemon juice, and lower than what lemon flavored water would probably be (I'm not an expert on chemistry, but know a little about pH levels). The person who said it wouldn't work either has had a bad experience due to a bad product, was misinformed, or doesn't know what they're talking about. Incidentally, coffee, while not as acidic, is still on the acid side of the pH scale and is never questioned. Lemon flavoring added to water is probably closer in pH to coffee than it is to soda. You're good to go!
Question:	Can I fill it with water and freeze it
Answer:	Yes. Remember not to overfill the canteen before trying to freeze it, since the water inside is still subject to the laws of molecular physics and will expand. This could dent the metal interior or lid if you're not careful. In my experience, the 32oz takes longer than overnight (8-10hrs) to freeze due to the insulation, so give yourself enough time if you want solid ice.

Answer:	I use the spout lid (about 1.5-2cm diameter opening) which is rigid plastic and does not have the straw attached inside the water bottle. The part where you drink for the lid that attaches to the straw (hard clear plastic straw) is also hard plastic and not silicone. I hope this helps!

Answer:	Mine has leaked yes. It will leak slightly with the mouth/straw attachment on when held upside down. It will also leak if you undergo a pressure change. I was on an airplane flight and it leaked quite badly. I remedied this by flipping the straw to the open position so the pressure differential didn't cause an issue during flight. Slight magnetism can occur in SS304 as it contains iron. "All stainless steel is magnetic except austenitic stainless steel which is actually 300 series stainless such as 304 and 316. However, 300 series stainless is non-magnetic only after it is freshly formed. 304 is almost for sure to become magnetic after cold work such as pressing, blasting, cutting, etc." Hope this helps. Answer:	I've used soap but not a lot just a little drop of an amount I'm assuming they don't want you to because of any leftover residue but for the most part if you rinse out really well I don't see what's the harm but the sponge is good for short. Of time after while he loses its Effectiveness it just doesn't really clean all the way to the surface and I'm waster of humidity gets in there so I would just maintain what's a week cleaning it washing it out well

Answer:	No leaks here. It has the same threads as a soda bottle and the Sawyer filters. The cap is a common, quick open-close drinking top but will not interchange with the similar drinking cap on the large Sawyer filter as this one is much deeper. This bottle fits and seals nicely with the input (dirty water side) of the Sawyer filters and with the Sawyer Coupler (SP150) to attach to the output (clean water side) of the large Sawyer filter. On the output, squeeze the air out of the bag then attach and it will gravity feed and automatically shut off when full.

Answer:	Hello Brittanie. Yes, if you put clean water in this, you could drink directly from it. We have many customers who use this product for their gym workouts, walks, and outdoor activities where they don't need to filter water because they already have a clean source. We DO sell a product called the Survivor Filter, which fits along with our Collapsible Canteens. However, you don't need it if your water is already clean - you can use it just like a regular, reusable bottle. We hope this helps!
