Answer:	This is how I use it. During the sunny hours or when I'm in the pool, I take it off. Remember it's like insulation. Take it off in sun and let the solar energy heat the water. After the sun is gone, cover the pool with this to keep most of your heat gains. Diminishing returns of course, but it works for me.

Answer:	This heater is fairly easy to install if you are a DIY but don't attempt this is you are not a handy man (or woman). I was replacing an older (15 years old) Jandy Heat Pump so I already had the power and plumbing changes were a bit tricky (since this unit installs plumbing from back whereas Jandy installed plumbing from front). I did have my son help me move the unit from my driveway back to the pad (about 50 feet) since it weighs nearly 300 lbs - used a hand-cart/dolly and my son for stability. I also put plywood adjacent to pad temporarily to allow for easier sliding of the unit off the pallet it comes on and onto the pad.

But you could connect two of them, if the pump flow is sufficient for both units. I would install one, and see how well it works. If you find that it is not warming it enough in the early spring, then a second unit might be required. Chances are that if you run it 24/7 for a week, it will take the pool from 70F to 84F, and you will be happy with one heat pump. Answer:	Yes, Quick Shine can be used on most floor surfaces: Tile, wood, laminate. Works well, but personally, I don't like the fact that it contains blue dye that can stain nearby carpeting. Biokleen makes a multi-surface floor cleaner that has a nice citrus scent. Simply Floored makes a similar natural surfactant with a freshing touch of mint.

Answer:	This is a woven poly fabric and it will absolutely allow air and water thru and almost 100% prevents weed growth. The only caveat is that you should cut it with a heat knife, relatively inexpensive and will prolong the use of this material for many years. Otherwise, since it is woven it will unravel. I have used it for 2 years with excellent results in my vegetable garden and plan to use it around my home as a permanent weed block covered with wood chips. I also recommend landscaping staples with this product. I learned about this fabric from Herrick Kimble, an excellent gardener, inventor and entrepreneur. Answer:	It can hook up to 1.25 intex or 1.5 hose. You need gaskets though.

Answer:	I'm presently heating 60 gallons. Keep in mind it only heats as long as is on the unit. You will need a pump to circulate the water and dual shut off valves to isolate the water while it is heating. I heat a jacuzzi with mine and in the peak of summer I got over 120° incoming water. Answer:	Yes, it has a connection hose and clamps with each one to tie one, two or more together. Hint: make sure you silicone the caps and threaded fittings. I did even with the Teflon Tape to insure no leaks. Work great.

Answer:	Yes it works with a sand filter. It also works with salt water systems. I installed mine downstream from the filter on the inlet line to the pool and before the chlorine generator. I would not install it upstream from the pump and filter because you don't want any debris that gets past the skimmer to get into the heater to potentially cause blockages. It doesn't have to be before the chlorine generator either, that's just how mine worked out.

Sensitivity Marks

The “Sensitivity Marks” can be used as a general indicator for the sensitivity position. One pool alarm can be used for all pool types. This includes aboveground, in-ground, inflatable and soft side pools.

It is recommended that more than one alarm should be used in pools larger than 20x40 ft.

RECEIVER

Your receiver works with the pool alarm allowing you to monitor your pool from within your house. When the floating alarm is activated it sends a signal to activate the receiver.

Transmission Modes

The receiver has two modes of operation: Serial Number mode (SN mode) and ID mode. When the receiver is in SN mode it will accept the transmission of any Pool Patrol transmitter (this is the default setting). The serial number is common to all transmitters. When the receiver is in ID mode it will accept the serial number plus the ID number of the transmission. The ID number is unique to each transmitter.

RECEIVER PLACEMENT

It is best to place the receiver next to a window or wood door adjacent to the pool with-in 200 feet from the transmitter. Do not place the receiver near steel walls, cabinets, on or alongside an electrical appliance, such as a computer, or on a metal surface as this may affect signal reception. The pool alarm will not transmit its signal through the ground.

Question:	will this fit a 24ft round solar blanket
Answer:	I bought mine in bulk sheets and cut them to size. You only want to rinse the black sponges in tank water and replace the white when necessary.
Question:	What is included in set, is it reel included
Answer:	Kiki, Some argue that redirecting the air bubbles to the water surface via stack tubes and angle adapters making them skim across the surface horizontally, seem to reduce the amount of bubbles. While it may help break up the bubbles, I don’t think they actually reduce the amount of bubbles created. The only way to reduce the bubbles is to regulate your air supply. You can add an air manifold to your pump so you can adjust your air supply to your filter and bleed off any extra by opening any or all of the unused valves on the manifold. The reason for opening the unused valve(s) is to eliminate back pressure on your pump. Back pressure on pumps makes them run louder and reduces the life of the internal parts of the pump. Manifolds are abundant on Amazon and I would go with the ones with the brass valves with the single lever to open and shut the valves. They last a lot longer than the plastic ones you have to turn to open and shut. Keep in mind, reducing the air supply to your filter, limits its ability to filter your water. If you have a lot of fish with a heavy biological load, that could add stress to your fish. Any stress at anytime to your fish is never good. Question:	Does the solar cover come with this reel
Answer:	The top fits very snug and is a little difficult to open the first few times. I had to get my nails between the top and the base and work my way around it until it finally popped off. Now it comes off fairly easy to clean the sponges. I love this filter on my 29g high! I use a HOB filter too. But in my opinion this little bio corner filter works great, easy to clean, and there’s no worry about losing prime if the electric goes off. Good luck!

Answer:	I use a 270gph power head in my 60 gal hex. It fits right on the lift tube.
