Answer:	Hello Heidi. Typically you would go down about 1/2 to 1 full size from your shoe size to get your skate size; however there are other factors to consider. For example if you have a very wide foot you sometimes have to go up in size to get the extra width you require. If your foot is a medium width & you have no fitting issues with shoes, you would likely be able to follow that rule. Also from our chart, if your longest foot measures 9 5/16" in length= size 6, 9 7/16" in length= 6.5. Since there are several factors to consider, it is not possible to tell you exactly what size you need. Answer:	Depends on how long you want her to be able to use them. I bought my great-niece one size larger so that she would have more than one season out of them. Her mom put Dr. Scholl's pads in them last year. You would have to ask the manufacturer or take her into a sports store to try them on.

Answer:	Yes, the blades are sharpened. I took them to my skate shop to be sure they were sharp enough and they said they looked good.
Question:	If I am skating outdoors in cold weather and want to wear thick socks, should I go up a size from my shoe size
Answer:	I purchased different pairs for my daughter, size 6.5 and 7. She wears a size 8 women's in shoe size. The size 7 was too big even with thick socks. The size 6.5 Fits her just right. she takes ice skating lessons and you need that support for your ankles. They say go a size and a half below your shoe size.
Question:	How many times do you have to sharpen them? I'm new to skating
Answer:	The skates come sharpened, and depending on how much you skate, you should get the skates sharpened every four weeks.
Question:	I wear a womens' size 7, should i get a 6 or a 6.5? i wouldn't say i have wide feet, but i definitely don't have slim feet
Answer:	You’re usually safe to go a full size down in skates. I wear a 10 in normal street shoes and the 9 in these skates fits perfect. Just remember you HAVE to break in skates no matter what brand. Small discomforts at the beginning are fine, but if it lasts longer than a few weeks the size isn’t right.

Answer:	Junior 12. Next size would be 1. Bought a boys and a girls pair. They are 6 yrs old and both wear size 4. I bought a 4. Fits great but probably won’t fit next year.
