There are two differences between this one and Birds. Bird cuts the pole right before the folding mechanism and replaced the hinge with a rigid collar. Bird also removed the original blue tooth dashboard/circuit board on the top and replaced it with their own brain. There are two speed modes...Normal 15.5 mph and economy 12.5 mph. Bird only used the faster Normal mode.

Answer:	I don't think there is a basket for the scooter. I would check and see if you can fit a bicycle basket on the handlebars.

Answer:	It's not hard if you are reasonably handy with tools; remove the seat post and the platform, then remove the metal brace that covers the batteries (two). The wires are soldered on to the batteries, so, you'll have to cut them (close to the battery posts). Strip the wires, about an 1/2 inch, and attach quick disconnect tabs to the wires and crimp them, slide them on to the battery posts. Reattach the metal brace and the seat post and you're done.

Question:	Can it be documented on a plane
Answer:	These are sealed lead acid batteries. Same as in a car. The car keeps the batteries charged all of the time. Charging after use and immediately after use will extend battery life. If you go 10 minutes then you have used about 1/5 of battery. So 2.4 hours + another 1.2 hours for total of 3.6 will give full charge. Depending on battery and charger you can overcharge batteries. This can shorten battery life. Check on your charger.
Question:	Finally the max speed is 15.5 mph or 18.6 mph
Answer:	Do not ride it in the rain. There is a small gap between the deck and the batteries where water could easily get to the batteries and damage them, not to mention rusting the scooter(it is mostly metal). To keep it in good condition, don’t ride it through puddles or in the rain to prevent damage and rust. I only ride it when roads are totally dry or damp.(no puddles)
Question:	Will Segway honor the warranty if I buy this on amazon? My boyfriend bought one on amazon that stopped working and the warranty wasn’t honored
Answer:	There is a federal law that was passed which trumps all local and state laws on low powered e-scooters/bikes to promote electric vehicles. I don't have it in front of me. Google it. Don't expect your local cop to know this. Carry a copy of it with you if stopped. Even if ticketed, it will be thrown out of court.
Question:	How many pounds will it take
Answer:	The max range with hills I found is around 8 miles. If you go slower and ride where there are less hills, you could get farther and of course less weights on the scooter (say lighter person or without a backpack). I’d recommend getting the 9 ah batteries (3 12 v 9 ah led acid sealed batteries) which will extend the range by about 22 percent from the normal 7 ah batteries the scooter comes with. I waited until I needed to replace the batteries to make this switch, as the batteries only last 1-2 years even with proper care. No modifications are needed for this switch as the voltage stays the same, the only change is the battery capacity. This will give you more range.

Answer:	Unfortunately there is no way to brighten the display on the handlebars......
Question:	Is this considered a vehicle? Can I be pulled over by the police if i have wine after dinner and ride this home
Answer:	You can be pulled over by police if you show obvious signs of impairment. If you are all over the roads and showing a danger to others and yourself you will get a dui. IT IS STILL considered a motorized vehicle when a dui comes into play.
Question:	When purchasing through the Swagtron site, customers get a 30-day, no-hassle return policy. Same for Amazon purchases
Answer:	If purchased through Swagtron you are subject to their restock fee and up to 30% and you have NO OPTION to extend the warranty. At least through Amazon you can extend the warranty.

Question:	does it have brake lights
Answer:	There are 3 sizes of rollers. There are 8 large, 6 medium, and six small. I have never been able to curl my hair with these all at once. You can order more of a certain size from Conair.com, but I'm unsure as to how many you could fit inside the heater as each slot is meant to hold a certain size of roller. My hair is naturally curly but will not hold the curl from these rollers. I would suggest looking online, perhaps on YouTube, on ways to curl your hair with a straightener. If you roll your hair into a pin curl and clamp it between the plates on a straightener, you get the same effect and a longer hold. I wouldn't recommend these.

Answer:	These have a slip which I have never had a problem with. I love these rollers. They get very hot within 5 minutes. I never use the clips that come with it nor do I use the side "heater". People complain about the clips on this set. They don't work well, it's true. I went to Sally 's and bought different clips. Great!
Question:	Is there a trick to folding it and using the clip? When I fold mine the clip barely engages and while walking with it the scooter comes apart
Answer:	The light is not change for me neither, but if wait one or max 2 minutes without open the box, I think is enough hot for start. I have very long and straight hair and its working perfectly for me ;)

Answer:	nothing..just watch on you tube how they do it..and watch..how they do it..
Question:	How heavy is the scooter
Answer:	This is a 1,000 watt motor running at 48 volts. The current draw is therefore about 22 amps. So - if you wanted the motor to run at maximum load for, lets say 1 hour, you would need a 48 Volt battery of about 22 AH. A smaller battery would give less run time and of course, you would not be drawing full power all the time.
Question:	Does this work well on steep hills
Answer:	I see no reason why this would not work with lead-acid batteries. I used it with a 48 volt, 1,000 watt power supply.
