Answer:	There is a hand brake lever attached to the handlebars that actuates the front brake. It works just like a bicycle hand brake on the front.

Answer:	The grips themselves don’t, but this model has a more narrow handle bar then most and is still extremely compact. I transit through a bus and subway everyday with no issue and it fits into my backpack with the handles sticking out the top. Never had any issue as the grips are only about two inches wider than the deck/wheel-well.

This foot scooter is built on top of the same frame structure and uses the same large, fast polyurethane wheels as all our other models. The deck is made from a plastic material that is available in two colors: blue and red. Don't be fooled by the plastic deck, the Dash push scooter can still support over 800lbs (363 kgs).

The platform for the Dash manual scooter offers a slim profile allowing the kicking foot to stroke very close to the center line of the deck for optimal bio-mechanical efficiency. Answer:	I found it very easy to open and close. It always clicked when in place. Proble for me was it took some pressure to release and then the plastic lever broke. Try pulling it past the lock position then release the lever. Good luck
