Answer:	Yes. Since a diesel does not use electricity to run a converter box is used to meter fuel flow off the #1 fuel line which it converts to electricity so you can use a timing to set timing.

Unfortunately, I actually never received mine, it got lost in shipping and I had to be refunded. It ships from China or someplace in Asia, so the wait is awful long, I waited for close to 2 months for mine, which as I said, never arrived...

Question:	Will this work on diesel engines
Answer:	My limited understanding of diesel engines is that they don not have spark plugs or distributors. If that's the case, I don't see how a timing light could work. I could be wrong.
Question:	Is the pick up clip multi directional? The other timing lights I have owned always had an arrow pointing to the spark plug side
Answer:	There is no arrow or pointer on the pickup of the unit that I have. It works great but honestly I haven't used it very often. I am a mechanic on my vehicles only and only the two old school ones at that.

Answer:	This timing light does not have an integral tachometer where the CP7529 does have a Tach. Thanks for your question.
Question:	Will this work for a 1983 Honda 750 v45 Magma motorcycle
Answer:	as best I can tell, the V45 is a V4 which all actron timing lights are compatible with. In researching, we could not tell how the plug wires are routed, however believe the clamp will connect properly given enough length available on the plug wire. Please consult the factory shop manual for additional details.

Answer:	If you mean,does the spark plug spark normally while you are timing, the answer is yes. If you mean, can you connect this in line between the spark plug and the spark plug, that is NO, but it is not necessary since power comes from the battery rather than the current flowing through the spark wire during a spark.

PLEASE NOTE: before adjusting the timing, the "dwell angle" or "gap" should be adjusted on vehicles fitted with contact breaker points.

Operating Instructions:1.Clamp the inductive pick-up around the number one spark plug wire. Make sure the arrow on it is facing towards the spark plug.

Do not allow the inductive pick-up to touch the exhaust manifold or surrounding parts as these areas become extremely hot and will damage the inductive pick-up.

Question:	My farm tractor started doesn't kickin all the time so i use a screw drive to jump across it. will the heavy duty remote be up to the task
Answer:	I must turn the ignition on or on ACC for the cigarette lighter to work. I have this problem with my vehicle. So, when I replaced my battery, before disconnecting the battery, I turned my ignition to ACC, plugged in the saver, then replaced the battery. My computer memory was saved. So, unless the computer has a flash drive memory that does not erase, this device will work if ACC turned on is required. It would be nice for someone else to verify or refute this experience.

Allows one person to start and crank the engine from either side of the vehicle.

Caution!

Exercise care when making this connection because battery voltage is always present at the solenoid or starter relay. Personal injury may be caused if leads are shorted to a ground through tools, wires or wristwatch.

Turn the ignition switch to the On position before using the Remote Starter Switch if you wish to start the engine.

If the vehicle is equipped with an engine Hot indicator, the lamp test circuit which is in the ignition system could be damaged if the remote starter switch is energized with the ignition switch in the Off position.

Key in the off position would be used if you’re just cranking the engine over for special jobs like setting valves, or testing compression.

Typical Connection to Fender Mounted Solenoid (Ford)

This relay may have three or four terminals, two large ones and one or two small ones.

1. Remove the wires connected to the small terminal if only one small terminal is provided. If two small terminals are present, remove the wires from the small terminal marked S.

2. Connect one lead of the Remote Starter Switch to the bare small terminal where the wires were just removed.

3. Connect the other lead of the Remote Starter Switch to the Battery Terminal of the relay.

4. Crank the engine by depressing the Remote Starter Switch.

Typical Connection to Starter Mounted Solenoid (GM)

This relay may have three or four terminals, two large ones and one or two small ones.

1. Connect one lead of the Remote Starter Switch to the small terminal of the solenoid marked S. Be cautious as these connections are exposed and very close together.

2. Connect the other lead of the Remote Starter Switch large battery terminal on the solenoid. This is the heavy cable coming from the battery.

3. Crank the engine by pulling the trigger on the Remote Starter Switch.

Answer:	Yes it will work on a two stroke outboard motor, however you need to be in low light because the units light isn't real bright
Question:	Can this light be used on a 6 volt car
Answer:	No it doesn't. 130 is not a tach/advance timing light. The D cell battery power source limits its function to standard timing. Being powered by D cells brings other advantages that 12 volt powered units can not match, such as timing pull start engines from snowmobiles for example. Further, it is never reliant on being tethered to a vehicle battery, which may be located in inaccessible places.

Used to detect the pulse from the fuel pipes of diesel fuel injectors. Works on most direct injection diesel engines fitted with 6mm(1/4IN ) to 10mm(3/8IN ) external fuel pipes. Suitable for use with most timing lights, engine analysers and multimeters that have an inductive pick-up.
