I wear them all day walking, shopping, whatever, and they are very comfortable. You can see from the picture some of the tread, but the tread on the bottom is very good. I love mine.

Answer:	I have purchased three of these helmets. Two for a pair of 8 year old twins and the third for a 12 year old boy. It fits all three of them very well. I have a 22” head and my daughter has put her helmet onto me and it fit as well, though a little snug across the forehead. I hope that this helps!
