Answer:	It has exact amount of seat padding for a Tri short. Not as thick as a regular bike short. I've done several swim-bike-run workouts wearing these and they're great.

Answer:	These shorts are not designed for chlorinated pools. You can wear them but they have side nutrition pockets which will catch water and the fabric is not designed to withstand the chemicals. We do offer swim specific jammers for pool swimming.

Question:	do these shorts have a pocket? Looks like it does on back. And it it a loose flap over the pocket or secured in some way, perhaps velcro
Answer:	Correct, it's a loose flap. I've used these shorts for years. I put Gu packs and blocks in the pocket, as well as a small and very light key fob. However, it's loose enough that jelly bean packs audibly rattle and something like a standard key fob for a car would be too heavy and rattle around too much. Great shorts though - I've used for several Ironman races. The chamois edging inside is not high-end and you'll need to use body glide for longer distances.

Answer:	Sure, just rinse well after swimming. Wash in regular cycle and air dry, NO fabric softener.

Answer:	I got a size L. I am 5'11", 170#, My shape is a Mesomorph. The suit is too tight around my chest when I swim fast. When breathing my chest expands to 43" and when exhaled it is 40.5". I now going to try to modify the top part of the suit (dimension over the chest at the nibbles ) and take out 2.5" and tappert down 5.5" (Upside down triangle). Buying special glue etc. It is always tricky to it right. Good Luck.

Answer:	I don't know if people run with this or not...but I think one could run with it on although it is not breathable so take that into consideration...also, it easy on and easy off so you can slip into it or out of it very quickly. good luck

Answer:	It does add some bouancy and not raise the shoulders too high. Combine it with the the Synergy pants or shorts and you’ll have a nice wetsuit that helps lift the hips higher in the water.

Answer:	They seem to be same length as my Zoot 8” tri shorts. These are great shorts for the money.

Answer:	I can’t speak to medium and large, but I can tell you that I sized up and they fit me well. I’m usually a 2XL and went with a 3XL in these and was happy with the fit. I believe the inseam is 9”. They fit like a typical pair of jammers or bike shorts. They held up well for me last summer, lots of training in them as well as two triathlons with no issues.

Question:	Why is the red/white striped pair different? They are the only ones that appear to have leg nibs (grippers) for holding the legs in place. True
Answer:	I have 3 pair (1 short and 2 medium length) and they all fit the same. I’m 130 lbs 5’6” and normally wear a size 10 but wear an 8 in all my Maui Rippers. They fit me great and dry super fast. Hope that helps!

Answer:	I am looking for the same thing. Can't find anything in women's and mens never fit right or have scratchy mesh. I may end up wearing those microfiber type panties underneath (the kind without the cotton panel...that dries too slowly.) And women's bathing suit bottoms also dry really slowly. Who wants to walk around with a wet bikini bottom under a dry pair of shorts? Wish they had a thin liner.
