Question:	Can someone confirm distance between the two top screw holes of part that attaches to wall? Have a stud to attach to but stud width is only 1.5 in
Answer:	Not far. The top bar has a flat hunk of plastic (an inch or so thick) that must make direct contact with the wall. The legs curve forward a bit, and they probably sit about a foot from the wall, I reckon.
Question:	Will this fit on a Pivot Mach 429 Trail mtn bike

Answer:	I would say it does not install easily on a stud wall. I installed mine on the wide side of an exposed 2x4 and it works great. But the top portion of the hanger is too wide to be anchored into a single stud.

Question:	Are there replacement hooks i can buy
Answer:	Our products have a lifetime guarantee. If one of your hooks is damaged or needs replaced please contact us at [email protected] for a replacement.
Question:	Can this be mounted with anchors in drywall, or only in studs
Answer:	It is best to use the provided hardware to go into your studs. However, it can be mounted with anchors in drywall provided you use the correct hardware. We recommend using the toggler brand "snap toggle" with a 1/4-20 thread bolt. Follow the instructions for installing the toggler and use at least 3 per strut. For the 6 Bike rack you will need 6 togglers. Space them out evenly and this should provide the needed strength as long as your drywall is in good condition. Question:	is Not installed too high off the ground is it difficult for kids to take their bikes down and put them away? The kids are ages 10, 13, 14. Thanks in
Answer:	That could be a problem. For an adult lifting and lowering the bikes to and from the rack isn't much off a problem. For children that age it could be difficult. If there are multiple bikes on the rack, you may have to move bikes around a bit to get them all on. Again not a huge problem for most adults but for pre- and early teens it probably would be. You are probably going to have to help them get their bikes on and off the rack for a few years.
Question:	Is the hanger covered with black boot or have foam as shown in video? in my experience the shiny black covers stretch and crack and fall off
Answer:	We do use a black cover that slips over the bottom of the hook. Where you have likely experienced issues in the past is from a manufacturer "dipping" the metal piece into plastisol (liquid vinyl) then heating it to cure it. This dipping process can lead to thin coatings that crack and fall off. Our covers are made in a separate process and are then added to the hook after it is powder coated. Our covers are much thicker (almost 1/8" thick), more durable, and are designed to last a long time. Koova bike racks are made in our factory in the USA from high quality materials. Question:	Can the rails be spread out? We would like to hang 2 on one wall and 2 on the other
Answer:	Thank you for your question. The bike hooks can be positioned along the rail at any position, although we do provide recommended positions. Please also note that the hooks then need to be screwed onto the rail using supplied bolts so that the hook positions are secure - it is fine to alter the position of the hooks afterwards. Question:	Can it be placed on a regular house wall instead of in a garage
Answer:	The part of the hook that catches the rim is about 3" wide, mostly flat (that is, not curved), with a slight upward tip at the end. I don't have a fat bike, so I can't say for certain; but if you look carefully at the manufacturer's image provided online (blow it up on your monitor), you'll note that the hook doesn't extend to "cup" the entire width of that fat bike rim. I guess that's enough to keep the bike in place.
Question:	Are the hooks adjustable, Can accommodate 6 bikes and 5 helmets

Answer:	Mine arrived on 2/12/20. The wall mount screw holes are arranged vertically. The top two screws holes are not side by side as shown in the photograph. Mounting a separate board on a stud is not required when these are so arranged.

Question:	If I want to get a bike in the middle, do I have to remove the other bikes to the left or right of it before accessing
Answer:	It would not work well. The bike holding arms are on an outer tube that slide over a smaller tube fixed to the mounting bracket. The smaller tube has a spring-loaded button that snaps into one of several holes on the outer tube, allowing you to set the distance of the arms from the wall. If you turn the bracket upside down, the button will no longer engage the holes, and the outer tube (and therefore the arms) will pivot freely, and your bike is likely to spin around and fall off the mount.

Answer:	They are apart ... I think the holes should be align vertical ! I put the ankers and they are coming off easily ...

Answer:	The metal is very sturdy. The weight of what it can hold will depend a lot more on how you bolt it in or if you hit a stud etc. Summary: the metal is fine more depends on how you install it. I bought these and they have been great. Also work on my Large Mountain Bike.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the space needed for this rack with bikes on it
Answer:	That all depends upon your wall anchors. The brackets themselves can handle any size and weight bike, so long as you’re not hanging a Harley up there.
Question:	is it still stable when you only have a bike on the top rack
Answer:	I use it without being bolted to the floor. I does slide when the moto is moved in and out of the stand, but it is manageable.

Question:	Do the hooks move/swivel up and down
Answer:	Yes, in fact we found it was the only way we could easily take off and mount the bikes, as otherwise the hooks tend to slide along the rack

Answer:	This works excellent . Make sure and mount it to studs in your wall.I have had one for a year now and have no issues at all. It keeps all our bikes neatly hanging in the garage.

Answer:	The bike's top wheel extends a couple of inches above the bar, so the height really depends on how long your bike is and if you want some space below the bikes. I hung it at about 7', so I have some space below. As to the spokes, I didn't notice any damage on the spokes so far, but the rubber coating on a couple hooks has been torn, so I had create a DIY padding.

Answer:	I dont think so, step thru's usually do not have top cross bar, to place across the red portion off wall mount. Ask co. Directly
