Answer:	Hi, gatelady, I just pulled it out to try & no, it won't. When I attempted it, it was very tense, like winding a rubberband, & about to snap. I was afraid to continue past 5 revolutions...I do know that some do go in reverse. I can't remember the product#, but it's a "Sunny" (sp?) brand. I have found great benefit with these types of bikes. It's the only exercise I am able to do & with a diet, I've lost 60 lbs in 4 months. I have had multiple back surgeries & nerve damage-so it's even difficult to walk with assistance. Even for me, the bad part, again, is that there is very little tension, so instead of riding it for 30 minutes, I have to ride it for 2 hours to burn the same calories...no exaggeration. It's very easy on the knees & I have no pain in my spine as I pedal. Soon, I think I will try to purchase a regular exercise bike that offers some semblance of resistance...I hope this helps. Answer:	I did not receive the basket that is shown. Mine is a metal wire basket that folds up. I am not real crazy about the basket but I decided that it was not that important to me, I have since taken it off. So I guess to answer your question it would depend on which basket you get.

Answer:	No, don't buy this bike if you are 5'2''. When sitting on the seat you feet will not touch the ground. Probably need to be 5'4'' or taller to touch the ground. Once going you could ride this bike but considering it is heavy the starting and stopping would be a pain. We had to return ours.

Answer:	Quite heavy probably.75#. Not a problem as you probably want a heavier bike when using power.
Question:	Is it ok for an 85 year old man
Answer:	Well, i have to say yes, if he currently rides a bike this size or has driven an electric bike. Remember that with an electric bike, when you start to peddle, the motor kicks in and the bike takes off. You can avoid this by applying the brake and it will slow down a bit. I would suggest riding the bike with the key turned off at first, then turn the key on. He's 85 and i'm not a doctor, but care should be taken if he has no experience riding a bike. If he rides a bike all the time, then by all means let him go for it. My wife loves her bike and its very stable and controllable. Hope this helps.

Question:	How do i change the display from km/h to mph
Answer:	Okay...I am probably not supposed to be answering this question this way as I don't believe it would be supported by Ancheer and may be a little dangerous because you will be in the controller settings area. I found these quite by mistake because I was trying to figure out how to reset the trip meter to zero. First you need to make sure you have the correct controller and interface. Mine sits vertical, however it appears in some images they have another controller that sits horizontal and I have no idea how that one works. I searched online with the model information and have a manual for it from another e-bike - if you send your email address I will forward it to you. To access general settings menu, hold both the “+” button and the “-” button for 2 seconds. First setting to show is Trip Distance Clearance shown by TC on the display. Choices are y or n. If you save the setting with a y it will clear the distance. . Press the + or - button to change the value. . Press the info "i" button for 2 seconds and then exit general settings Next setting is the back light setting (or bL). Values are 1 - 3. . Press the + or - button to change the value. . Press the info "i" button to save your change. The next setting is the one you are looking for - Unit km/ml Conversion. Values are “1” is mile and “2” is kilometer. The default value is “2”. . Press the + or - button to change the value. . Press the info "i" button to save your change. It took me a long time to find this manual online and since the product is manufactured in China I would be careful as to what you click on. Hope this helps. ATB, Paul

Larger 27.5'' wheels and lockable front shock absorption

Larger wheels hold more speed than smaller wheels due to rotational inertia, making the 27.5" a faster ride than a conventional 26" wheel. A larger wheel provides better traction due to a larger contact patch, or more simply, the larger wheel means more rubber is touching the ground.

Lockout gives the rider blow-off valve adjustment options (how loose or stiff the compression force is on bike) not only helps pedaling efficiency while climbing/flat trail mode, but also gives the rider options to unlock to get better shock absorption when riding off rode.

Answer:	Could also try some brake cleaner. Then install with a little nickel anti-seize. Pedals will tend to self tighten so thread locking compound is unnecessary. Also if you have aluminum crank arms & install steel axel pedals the threaded joint may corrode making them difficult to remove next time. The reason for the nickel anti-seize.
Question:	how much weight can it carry
Answer:	No... these are just covered pedals. We used these on our peloton so we didn't have to but the clip in shoes.

Question:	Is anyone else able to get their bike into 6th and 7th gear? My chain just won't go on to those cogs. I'm not sure what's stopping it
Answer:	I had the same issue with mine (wouldn’t shift to 4th-7th gears). There’s a metal brace right by the gear shifting mechanism on the rear wheel. That metal brace stops the gears from moving properly because it’s to close to the shifter. I had to pull the piece away from the shifter at least 3 centimeters, then it worked fine. This must be a design flaw, or defect caused by shipping.

Question:	Can a standard bike rack be attached to this bike? If not, can one be puchased from Swagtron
Answer:	Yes, I have added the Lumintrail Bike Commuter Carrier Rack w/Seatpost Quick Release found here on Amazon. Looks great and allows me to mount my small rear cargo bag to carry my extra battery. I also added a mirror because I wasn't comfortable not being able to see those electric cars sneaking up on me. You need to go with a bar end type mirror because there is really not enough room on the handlebars to mount a regular mirror. Plus the bars are narrow which doesn't allow the mirror to stick out far enough to see around your body.
Question:	Can this climb 25 degree slopes with the electric assistance
Answer:	Yep, and *even* more! I’ve ridden all of San Francisco and it’s most notorious hills. Heck I took it on a speed run down Lombard after drag racing it down the top of California street during the evening where traffic is nonexistent. I trialed 6 ebikes, and with some minor adjustment (break system ahem) I found this to be the absolute best all around for a hill climb. I can do market to the top of nob hill with zero peddling.... not just assist... zero, just the bike doing it’s thing.
Question:	How many miles should I expect using pedal assist
Answer:	Depends on battery wear, weight, route, and incline. There’s a formula, and I believe a firmware update that will calculate it, but it’s generally between 5 -18 miles as the outside worst and best case scenarios. Dead flat road, average weight and good battery you’ll get 18-20, Hills galore max break and inclines a pro skier would shy away from lunatic riding will get you 5 miles. Battery wear also plays a *major* factor. Decreases miles per charge over time. If you’re good with topological maps you can calculate it pretty accurately.
Question:	I’m 6’1 is that going to be an issue riding the bike
Answer:	It won’t be an issue if you don’t mind riding a bike that will be the size of a children’s bike comparatively. Now, in the city you can get away with this because compact toss in the back of your Uber is totally fine. The bike will indeed haul you around the city even at 6’1” and at 190 - 220 lbs. I have ridden it with a second passenger which brought the weight up to around 300lb at which point it was unable to make graded inclined roads, but it did manage flat street road. I’ve put over 1000 miles on this bike, taken it completely apart and put it back together. The major issue with your size will be the breaks actually since it will not be able to handle to momentum. This can be dangerous, so don’t attempt any 35 degree inclines without serious safety equipment. I’m talking a full motorcycle helmet and Kevlar jacket and steel plate gloves and boots. Speaking from experience, you get going 35moh down hill on that thing.... there is nothing that’s going to stop you except taking a nasty dive... or a garbage truck at an impromptu moment. So, yes, it will work, but take it safely and test first. There are after market brakes you can adjust to handle this, but it’s more of a complete breaking system overhaul since the entire system isn’t designed tor it. Personally I prefer this route since the gearing box and disassembly is dirt simple if you know your way around and have a full set of security bits, I can break mine down in about 15 minutes and do a full replacement now. Even carry a multi tool pack in case the ceramic pads shatter due to my well... Unsanctioned mods. So other than life threatening hills, and a little humility, you’re totally fine. When I mean life threatening, I live in SF, and I’m talking about going down Broadway at top speed.... utterly terrifying. We actually made a bet that an, and I joke not, an Olympic contender could not make it up it on a standard mountain bike. They did, and we cracked a sweet, sweet 1947 bottle. It was the sweetest of all victories. So when someone says no, you can’t ride this bike you tall lunatic, remember this hero’s tale of victory against all possible odds. Let it inspire you, BE BOLD.
