The innards of the mechanism however are plastic with a stainless steel spring. I had to replace my unit due to the plastic tube snapping above the "pump" inside the handle and spout. That was in less than a year of moderate to light residential use.Vigo does have a warranty but I purchased it in a set with a sink and hadn't registered the product so just purchased another.
