Question:	Can u adjust resistance by shifting the gears on the bike
Answer:	Not very well but somewhat. Mostly you have to tighten and adjust the roller on the rear wheel. I have 18 gears but had it on the front middle chain ring. When next I ride on the ground, I will make sure I put it on the biggest ring. I can't get the front shifter to work because there isn't enough torque. My rear shifter does work but isn't enough to increase the resistance very much. It could work differently on your bike. PS. The directions are very poor and it was not clear how to lock down the wheel stand. My bike fell off the first time I used it. Upon further examination and analysis, I found the plastic rings that you slide toward the hub to lock the things that screw in. Now it works fine. The directions have almost no words and very blurry, smallish photos.

Answer:	I think so. The 9 yr old should have no problem, and i doubt the 6 yr old would either. The arm that holds the wheel dosent have alot of tension. It moves quite easily. I think its used more as a guide for the wheel. I really like the product and would recomend it.

Answer:	It's not difficult at all. The bike is held in place by threaded bolts that screw in from either side at the bike's axle. The fitting where it attaches to the axle, (it fits snugly over the nut) is good and sturdy, and the other ends have large plastic grips. The threads are large enough as to not make it hard to turn but small enough to allow for a good, tight fit.

How to install:

1️⃣ Unfold the bike rack and place it on level ground.

2️⃣ Place the electromagnetic wheel on the bottom of the frame and tighten the bolts to fix it.

3️⃣ Rotate the adjustment handles on both sides and place the rear wheel of the bicycle on the bicycle trainer.

4️⃣ Adjust the handle to make it firmly connected to the hub, and tighten the nut.

5️⃣ Adjust the knob to change the height of the electromagnetic wheel to fit the size of the wheel.;

Question:	Will this work with off road bikes
Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by the exposed locknut? The main reason to use this skewer as opposed to the one that came with your bike is that cone shape of the heads fit securely into the Kurt Kinetic clamp on your stationary trainer. I was able to use the skewer that came with my bike (Navarro carbon fiber with SRAM Rival components) it just didn't seat as nicely. And I have no problem using the Kurt Kinetic skewer with my bike, the only issue is aesthetic in that the components are black and the Kurt skewer is chrome.
Question:	Is this a "smart trainer"? I was watching a zwift video, and it talks about smart trainers. This does not explicitly say "smart
Answer:	Sorry. I have only used these skewers on road bikes and the Kurt Kinetic trainer. I'm not familiar with the Saris mag+ trainer.
Question:	does this unit include a leveler for the front wheel
Answer:	theoretically it should but not sure for that particular trainer.
Question:	No remote adjustment - is that a problem when using with trainer apps? How do you adjust resistance
Answer:	Well this is a custom skewer for the Kurt Kinetic trainer. Your bike wheel may already have a skewer on the rear wheel for quick release. That skewer can be changed with this one by following their (Kurt Kinetic) directions so that the possibility of the bike slipping off of the Kurt Kinetic trainer is eliminated. Last thing you want is to be going 30 to 40 miles an hour on your stationary set up and the wheel slips off the trainer you could crash into objects in the home and break them and could suffer an injury.
