User questions & answers
Question: | Is the 15" measurement the length of the bag when it is open? And then it is 9" wide |
Answer: | Yes, the product is waterproof. But if you want to know if it can last, yes it stay on, but as you known, no eating and drinking....... |
Question: | What Color Is It |
Answer: | Possibly. I found that the big open area of the pad reduces the contact surface with the sand paper so much that the paper doesn't stay connected. I didn't have this problem with a Chicago Tool pad on a Chicago Tool multi-tool. |
Question: | What is the difference between this and the osprey ultralight zip organizer? they seem to have very similar designs and weights |
Answer: | Yes, pads are 3”x3”x3”. |
Question: | Is this worth the weight in your pack to organize things or woud zip locks work just as well |
Answer: | It fit my sonicrafter just fine. No adaptor needed. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is there any way to latch this to outside of my Osprey pack |
Answer: | They seem to accomplish the same things, however there are a few pros and cons. This model has a larger bottom storage pocket, but the other one zips into a bag which could probably hold the same amount of items. The rolling function on this model doesn't work properly when 2 or more pockets are filled. If I had to repurchase I'd opt for the zip bag model that even manages to be lighter weight. |
Question: | Im thinking about getting this to utilize as a bike tool kit. would it fit in a side water bottle pouch? specifically that of the osprey radial |
Answer: | I use it as an easy organiser for toiletries and small things like SD cards etc. It weighs very little but helps a lot with things together. Pack it carefully otherwise it won't roll tightly and then take up too much space. Works great for me |
Question: | When you tighten the straps can you shrink both its width and height? Or just its height |
Answer: | Use this eyelash enhancer 2 times a day,for quicker results may be used 3 times a day. |
Question: | Is this water proof/resistant |
Answer: | It is about 1 week that you can see it does work. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Could it fit a normal sized role of toilet paper |
Answer: | I find that it can constrain the width somewhat but it depends on how it's loaded and what it's loaded with. It can make maybe .5' difference. |
Question: | Is this Waterproof |
Answer: | made of ripstop nylon - not waterproof but somewhat water resistant. it could be treated with a waterproofing spray, etc. |
Question: | Is there a way to attach it to an Osprey pack other than the hook |
Answer: | Yes, it is. This is also located in the product dimensions info within the the product listing's details. So far, it seems very well built. Goes perfectly with my same-colored Osprey AG pack, too. |
Question: | What are the main difference between this and the osprey ultralight tool roll? they seem to be almost exactly the same shape and weight |
Answer: | Gray and bright ass yellow. I love it. I use it for all travel. Taken with me to multiple countries, including Afghanistan. It's made a good 50 trips by now and no issues. Fits everything and the hanging hook is strong for being plastic. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What are the dimensions and weight of this bag |
Answer: | Uncertain about attachment. On the hook side, mine (orange) has two straps that could be handles, or for attachment. I suspect one could thread these through a belt or strap. On the bottom, there are two small loops that, theoretically, one could thread through a carabiner then attach to another bag. I am not sure of the intent of those loops. I have not tried any of these methods as I put the organizer inside another bag. |
Question: | Can this bag be used as a carry on when flying |
Answer: | This zips up into a rectangular shaped dopp kit for travel toiletries (tooth brush, shaver, etc), whereas the roll is organized more for actual tools and electronics and creates a tube shape. Basically, if you are using this for traditional toiletries during hotel stays, get the zip organizer because it's a dopp kit. If you are looking for something to organize small gear for camping or commuting, go with the roll. |
Question: | how wide are the backpack straps? could someone with broad shoulders wear it |
Answer: | Not designed to do that but you could run one of the straps / clips through strap on the pack |
Question: | the Osprey website says it come with the shoulder strap, but the Amazon description says "sold separately". Does it come with the shoulder strap |
Answer: | It fits in the water bottle pouch of my Manta 28 |

Question: | Does this bag meet carry-on requirements for Norwegian Air |

Question: | Does the transporter global carry on have backpack straps or can you buy separately |
Answer: | I believe the 65 also comes with the shoulder strap but none of the larger sizes do. That’s per the osprey video that’s with the pics of the bag here on Amazon. |

Question: | Will these fit in a porter |
Answer: | Yes, they are pretty small. |
Question: | How well do these fit into a backpacking bag vs a suitcase |
Answer: | They work just fine no matter what you put them in, of course that depends on the size of the backpack. If they fit inside your backpack these bags will keep things much more organized and use the space more effectively. |
Question: | What size ar the cubes in this set |
Answer: | The set comes with a small (2.5 liters), medium (4.5 liters) and a large (5 liters). |
Question: | Are these worth the money versus other less expensive packing cubes |
Answer: | I bought these as well as a cheap set. My cheap set ripped on first trip.. this set has held up on 2 trips; they are just a tad bit smaller than other packing cubes. I bought another set that can be compressed, after being zipped up; and more cheaper. |

Osprey’s Farpoint 80 is the right size for a long trip when you need one pack to transport everything from the airport to the back of beyond. Go ahead and fill it up. The LightWire frame suspension transfers the load from harness to hipbelt. A mesh backpanel improves ventilation and the mesh on the harness and hipbelt reduces chafing under load. The entire suspension stows away under a zippered panel creating a sleek silhouette for transport. Unzip the lockable sliders to access the main compartment. Inside there’s a mesh pocket for small items. A compartment with floating divider allows separate storage options and dual compression straps keep cargo from shifting during transit. Outside the pack, you’ll find a zippered front panel slash pocket to keep you organized and sewn attachment points to add extra gear. No matter how much you choose to carry, StraightJacket compression straps stabilize the load. There are also loops to anchor an optional Osprey Daylite daypack if you would like the convenience of a small satellite pack for short forays.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this pack have a designated space for a bladder and if so can it fit 3L |
Answer: | Designated? No, but the upper pocket might hold it or the main pocket surely will. |
Question: | I am 5'4" and 150 lbs, i am hoping to use this on a one month trip around europe. should i get a s/m or m/l? also is the compartment big enough |
Answer: | I have the M/L and I am 5'9 160Ibs. I feel very comfortable with the bag as it is serving quite nicely after using it for almost 5 months now. Keep in mind if you are flying some airlines have been getting stricter with the size capacity (since 55L bags are the "max" size allowed as a carry-on). If you are only traveling a month you might want to opt for the smaller 55L bag to play it safe. In general This bag is great |
Question: | Could a medium build woman carry this when it's full? could i pack for a two week trip in the uk w/ me plus infant in this |
Answer: | Our bag holds 3 packing cubes, 2 pairs of shoes and a bag of toiletries. I am 5'5" and with all of the items I had difficulty placing the backpack on my back by myself. My husband didn't have any trouble putting it on and carrying around. I will say that once I got the bag on my back I didn't have any trouble walking around with it but again had trouble taking it off by myself. |
Question: | what is the difference between the Farpoint 70 and |
Answer: | 10 liters :PJoke aside, I own both an actually the 70 and 80 are completely different. The 70 is basically a 55 liter main pack with a zip on day pack that is 15 liters. The 80 is a full 80 liter main pack with no attached day pack, but you can get the Osprey Daylite which has attachment points (no zip on feature). Both the 70 and 80 have the same stowable harness system which is quite nice. The 70's zip on day pack I find a bit more convenient as a carry-on, as its just a bit quicker to take on and off, but its a matter of about 30 seconds. |
