Question:	Does this work correctly with presta valves? i know the description says so, but other gauges also claim that and do not perform well with them
Answer:	I found that removing the spring from the nozzle makes this very easy (i.e. no leakage) to use with presta valves. It also still works on Schrader valves without the spring.
Question:	How big is this? Is it small enough to fit comfortably in a seatpack on a road bike
Answer:	Don't buy a gauge that goes up to 60 if you need to measure less than 5. That's just common sense. If you need to measure 3-5 psi, buy an 8-10 psi gauge, which sounds like a specialty tool.

Answer:	I think it is +/- 3% of full scale deflection. So on a 60 PSI max Gauge it would be +/- 1.8 PSI throughout the entire scale. Besides being able to read the gauge more accurately and buy one in the range your working with like for me its regular car tires so 60 PSI is best and the dial has 1 PSI markings if you get a 120 PSI Gauge with 2 PSI markings 3% of that is now +/- 3.6 PSI which is not good for standard tire measurements which are in the 30 PSI range. Overkill is not good with gauges

Answer:	I used it to fill my large 650B x 3.0 MTB tires on a Specialized mountain bike. It worked great and had the volume to set both tires first time. I would guess it would work fine on the much smaller 700c tire.

Answer:	It should work fine. I use it on my 27.5x2.8 and it works with no issues. I might need to do it a few times just make sure the tire is seated as best as it can be then unleash the air.

Answer:	The Smarthead is a marketing gimmick -- despite Topeak's claim, the Joe Blow Booster does not work for Schader because of the unnecessarily tight fit. This is a presta only pump.

Answer:	It will, but using a manual pump is very difficult and can be dangerous. You will never get your car/truck tire filled accurately with this pump. Motorized pump is better for cars and motorcycles.

Answer:	This hose head is the push-on type. Thread size shouldn't matter. It works with both Presta and Schrader valves.
Question:	I have a Bontrager Charger floor pump and the head blew out. Will this replacement fit? The picture suggests it comes with hose adapters
Answer:	Works great with Bontranger Charger. None of the included adapters were needed. Unscrew the plastic boot at the base of the old hose, and pull the hose off. On the new hose, unscrew its boot from the adapter plug that comes installed on it and pull out the adapter plug. Push the new hose onto the pump, and screw on the new plastic boot. Perfect fit.
Question:	I have a hurricane pump purchased at performance bike. the valve head leaks. can i upgrade upgrade using topeak smarthead
Answer:	The SmartHead hose diameters are: 27/64 O.D. 5/32 I.D. I just used my old connector and cut the old hose off. It fit fine (I have a Topeak Joe Blow, not your pump). I believe the kit comes with a few adaptors, so I expect you can make it work. The smarthead is great...much better than what my pump came with. You won't be sorry. Cheers, Gary
Question:	Would like to use it on the Astro 3018 Digital Tire Inflator It has a 3/8" male hose. Anyway to do that
Answer:	I had a fit issue on my Silca Floor Pump. I bought the Topeak Smarthead and their hose and connected it using a brass Universal Pipe Thread reducer at the pump with a small hose clamp. I thought it might blow off someday, but it's still holding after five years.

Answer:	Yes. It is a bit fragile, so one must flip the gauge before opening or closing the pump.

Answer:	yes, either using the 2 bolt holes where a battle cage could go, or with tie straps. It comes with mounting bracket and hardware.
Question:	is this a good pump for a road bike? how hard is it to get the tires up to 120psi
Answer:	Yes, it works well for road bikes. I am able to get it to 160 so 120 should be no problem. Being smaller it will of course require more strokes to get it to pressure than a floor pump but it will take fewer than many of the mini road pumps including the Topeak Morph road pump. To get it to 160 I use both hands on the handle, one on top of the other. You might want to try this technique if you have trouble getting to 120.
Question:	Does it automatically adjust for Shrader and Presta valves like my Planet bike mini and floor pump
Answer:	The pump can do both types of valve but you have to unscrew the tip and reverse the plastic insert to switch valve type.

Answer:	I'm not familiar with the joeblow sport ii, but I ordered this several years ago and it's been great. No complaints at all, it's served me well for presta and Schrader value sizes. Perfect pump IMO.

Answer:	Yes there are serviceable parts available - Depending on the size of your tire I run 28mm Road Tire’s and it takes approximately 90 seconds to reach 80 psi and I have inflated up to 120 psi on a 23mm
