Answer:	It's too long for the rear pocket on my Levi's to hold it securely on its own, but here's a tip: loop it between your pants and your belt from the top, leaving the cylindrical part above the belt to keep it from falling out. Then you can stick the U part in your pocket securely.

Answer:	Depending on the type of bike, you will have different results. If you have a road or commuter bike, where the tire is closer to the frame, you may be able to lock through the wheel and frame. I have a fairly bulky mountain bike, and can only lock through the frame.
