Question:	How effective are these to use in bear country, any problems? Should i use one to seal my food inside my bear canister
Answer:	Hi. So I use these bags for backpacking primarily and do believe they do lock in oder. (Nothing is 100%). I normally hang my food in a bear bag and never had any issues. I recieny went to the Adirondacks where we were required to use a bear canister and I would think the lopsak bags would work but I think you would probably have space issues in the canister if you used the 10x10 or larger bags. Answer:	Hi. I use them in my bear bag and that is my reason for the purchase. Suposidly more scent proof but you know bears. They can smell anything. I haven't had an issue yet however make sure you wash the bags when you get home just as a precautionary. Happy hikes.

Answer:	It's bigger then a quart size bag. Roughly 2 inches wider and 3 inches taller. I cannot speak to air regulations but the zippers are very good, the plastic is thicker then a freezer zip lock bag and I would assume that if you could use a zip lock for air travel this would be better.

Answer:	I have one type - fits fine. Also have another dispenser (the one that also has a sanitizer dispenser on it) & the fit is VERY snug when you load a new roll. As you pull 3-4 out it loosens up fine, but in the beginning you almost have to open it up to pull em out. Heads up.

Answer:	The first thing that needs to be said about this question is that it is surprisingly complicated mostly because the definition of "biodegradable" lacks any kind of definitive consensus (both in the scientific community and also with regard to commercial law across countries). Technically everything is biodegradable on a long enough time scale. To be commercially labelled as biodegradable the current U.S. law requires that the product decompose within one year. With that having been said, you can know the following:The white Earth Rated bags satisfy the ASTM 6400 standard which means that when placed in a municipal composting facility will mean that 60-90% of the bag will decompose with 180 days. However, this works ONLY when they are composted properly, and only in those composting facilities that accept animal waste (you will need to see if your local municipality does this - you have to actively seek these out as the overwhelming majority of waste streams end at landfills/incinerators and not composts). The green Earth Rated bags have an EPI additive that, under certain conditions, will contribute to the bag degrading in 2-3 years when at a municipal waste facility. However, those conditions are rarely met as the EPI additive requires aerobic breakdown and most landfills rely upon the so called "dry tomb" method, which is anaerobic. However, you would need to confirm the method that is used at your particular municipal waste plant in order to determine the likelihood that your dog waste bags would decompose. So, in short, these bags probably do not reach the levels that most consumers would expect "earth rated" to mean. That having been said, these bags are probably the closest one could get given the current state of technology to having "green" dog wastes bags, especially when compared to typical plastic bags, but realize that even having said that one has hardly made a significant stride in reducing one's environmental impact with these bags.

Answer:	Correct, they are not green other than color. If you want a compostable bag, check to see if it passes the standard compost test ASTM D6400. Only certain types of plastic (PHA, PLA) pass this test. Expect that bags that are actually compostable will cost more because the base material from which they are made is more expensive. But if enough people purchase them, maybe they Will reach enough scale to be inexpensive in the future

Answer:	HQ is here and to keep the business lean, they outsource their distribution to China. Amazon then carries it in their warehouse, and ships via local. New way these companies do business to compete and lower costs.

Answer:	The silver bag is about 3/4 gallon. The bag should be changed after every use.
Question:	how do you remove the seat from the bucket so you can put the bag under it
Answer:	There's a trick to removing it. Close the lid, place your knee (or weight) on top of the lid, and pull on the edge of the seat to pop it off. The key is to put weight on the seat while pulling on the edge. It will snap off without causing to the bucket to shift all over the place. This will help keep all the "contents" in the bag, and not all over your seat.
Question:	How many times can you use a bag before changing? How much can it hold
Answer:	We only used ours for empyting our bladder and the bag lasted 3 days. I would always add a little scoopable kitty litter to the top after I used it. It's was only 2 of us that used it. When going #2 I would suggest changing it out more often or adding more litter. We used this for emergencies only and it worked fine.
