Answer:	It does not inflate immediately or rapidly! Just unscrew the cap and let it suck in the air, it takes probably 10 to 15 minutes to inflate, but you won't see anything dramatic happen right before your eyes. It's not an air mattress per say! It's an inflatable pad, but a lot better than a foam pad of comparable dimensions.

Answer:	The measurements are found in the 4th picture from the top, to the left of the main picture. When inflated, the pad lays flat, not cupped.

Answer:	A little. Not as noisy as my friend's Big Agnes Pad, probably about the same as the rustling sound that my sleeping bag makes, just more because the sleeping pad does it too. I used a microfiber pack towel under it, to absorb condensation from the tent and keep it from sliding around when sleeping on an incline, it worked fairly well and quieted it down a little.

Answer:	I've been reading your answers and, I have a suggestion. You could try using velcro straps to get it tighter. You can purchase a roll of it at Home Depot for a few bucks. It's designed for using on tarps.

Answer:	One side of that patch should have a peel off layer exposing an adhesive side. Stick it on when non inflated and let sit on then slowly inflate to test. Alternatively you can get rubber glue at bike shops/ auto shops commonly used for tire repair if it needs more reinforcement because its a bigger rip.

Answer:	no. I am not aware of any chemical smell nor did anyone ever mention/complaint about chemical smell.

Answer:	I was just on the Appalachian trail in PA a few weeks ago overnight in 30° and it snowed about 5". I had this pad in my hammock with their matching mummy sleeping bag and it worked fine, the wind is what made me cold. The pad isn't insulated at all so any heat built up will be stripped away with a breeze in a hammock. An underquilt or reflectix between the hammock and pad will help a lot.

Answer:	It does not inflate immediately or rapidly! Just unscrew the cap and let it suck in the air, it takes probably 10 to 15 minutes to inflate, but you won't see anything dramatic happen right before your eyes. It's not an air mattress per say! It's an inflatable pad, but a lot better than a foam pad of comparable dimensions.

Answer:	No, the pillow is seamed with the rest. But you don't have to inflate the pillow and you could just fold it under the sleeping bag.

Just remember to kneel on the sleeping pad to squeeze the air. Close the valve, fold in half and roll it up again, gather the rest air and open the nozzle to push it out.
