Answer:	I think this will depend on the person's bone structure. I am a side sleeper and my shoulder to hip ratio kinda lines up so this mat works for me. It is 2in thick, so if you need more cushion I think double stacking these mats would work or look for something thicker than 2in!

Answer:	It takes approximately 30 minutes. Please keep in mind that when the mattress is new, or has been stored rolled up for an extended period of time, several breaths may be required to fully inflate ;)
Question:	Would this work as a portable mattress pad on a hard hotel bed when traveling? It seems every hotel bed kills my hips

Our house is built on the slab so their is little to no padding under the carpet and this definitely made the floor more comfortable. I think an egg foam pad would work better for the hotel, but this would give you some extra padding too.
