Answer:	I fold it in half with the band at top on the outside of towel. Then fold into thirds length wise. Lay it down and the band should still be at the top on the outside. Just roll it up and then pull the band over one end. It isn't exactly in the middle, but holds it together and fits back into the bag.

It's located there, as opposed to a corner, so your towel doesn't touch the ground when hanging in the gym or from a tree. From what I can tell they are not using any sort of anti static technology which means static can build up and discharge into your computer parts and destroy them. This is why technicians use compressed air. If vacuum has blow setting you can use that.
