Answer: If you mean pastel, like the type you can use to write on black paper, then no, the pack that I ordered did not come with those. I ordered the 20-pack. I'm not sure, but I think the 38-pack might come with pastels. Not sure how opaque they are though, or if they are just super pale. Some of the colors in the 20-pack are very light, but not at all opaque, so when you write on any type of paper, it is hard to see it at all. Great for certain types of art or coloring, but not great for writing or for using on colored papers.
