Answer:	Measuring tip to tip on the supportsame is 4 1/8 inches. I wouldn't go smaller than 3.5 but I think you're good. Make certain the stove is on a level surface. It works great. Get a small GSI coffee pot.

Answer:	I recently took a 3 day 2 night trip with this stove and a single 110 gram canister. I Used it to make breakfast 2 cups water in a Mountain House scrambled eggs with bacon and 2 large cups of coffee. Then dinner was very similar. So I used it 4 times to boil about 4 cups of water each time. I still had enough fuel left for a couple more meals. Use a windscreen, a wide base pot like an Imusa .9 quart grease pot. I would think a single 230 to 250 gram canister would be enough. If you want to have a backup use an alcohol stove. I do regardless.

Both pots ruined after just one run in the dishwasher on the top rack - it completely stripped off the non-stock finish and I was left with a chalky dull metallic coating that rubs off with your finger (so probably would cook into your food). Completely unusable. Glad this was only 20 bucks. Throwing it in the garbage. Very much wish the company had just clearly printed "not dishwasher safe" on the package.

Question:	How necessary is the pot support for this system? That is, how ready to use is this kit providing you already have fuel
Answer:	Looking at the product images and watching the video you'll notice the male appears to remove the lid quite easily with one hand and the assumably empty pot isn't disrupted. This would lead me to believe there is a slip flange on the lid that slides inside the mouth of the pot much like your pots at home and slips fairly easily. I hate answering questions without having purchased a product but after 4 weeks and only one weak answer I thought observation and analytical thinking might be better than nothing. Fwiw I too am in search of another pot and scrolling the questions I saw yours. I hope this helps out somehow.

Answer:	Both sets include the same items: 2 pots, a frying pan, 2 strainer lids, a cutting board, a pot handle, and a waterproof stuff sack. The difference is in the size of the cookware. The large set includes 3 and 5 liter pots and a 9" frying pan. The small set includes 1.5 and 2 liter pots and an 8" frying pan.
Question:	What is the difference between Jetboil Zip Cooking System and Jetboil Personal Cooking System
Answer:	No. You can’t expose them to flames but you can put them on the pots when you cook. They are lids so that is their purpose.
