Answer:	The grill is "just a grill" you need some source of propane. To get started I'd recommend going to your local hardware store or sporting goods store and ask for a small stove fuel tank. They're a few dollars and will screw directly into the the Camp Chef. The hose is if you want to attach a much larger (e.g. 5 gal) propane tank to the grill. Start with the little propane tank first, to learn how to use the stove --- a small tank is plenty for weekend trip for a couple people. Coleman makes them; search for "16.4 oz"
Question:	Will the female end attach to a Napoleon TQ285 portable grill that has the regulator removed

Answer:	No, yes you will have to burn off the cheap paint first before you ever use this on a camping trip. Then paint it with the high temperature paint for barbecue grills. You can get from Lowes or Home Depot. But back to the tent itself, the material itself is only fire resistant and could start to melt or catch fire especially if it has been sprayed with a water proofing spray. And I would guess this tent doesn't have a stove jack in the roof either.
