Question: Is this the same as his "bodyweight training - based on the book you are your own gym" dvd? is it worth getting this also or has it just been renamed
Answer: The videos are based on the book however there are 3 distinct workouts: ladders, circuit training and timed sets. One workout is a bit slower, one is faster etc. The workouts are pretty basic with only a few moves practiced over and over.b If you want something with more moves try the EFX series. Much harder.

Answer: I am not Mr. Lauren but I have done many if his programs. I strongly suggest you check out his youtube videos to get a better idea of what the exercises are and what the volume is. It is def not like lifting weights.

Answer: Yes, it is very doable n very motivational. Mark is great. I am a 68 year old male, with this routine n a proper diet I went from 201 to 172 in 7 months n my wife, Karen loves how ripped I am. I didn't even look this good when I was a 20 year old Marine. In March I felt like I was 78, today I feel like I'm 38. This program got me motivated (started my new eating plan in March, started Mark's program in mid-June). HIIT training burns fat, because it builds muscle. Cardio workouts lower testosterone n kills your ability to burn fat effectively. I give this program an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up. Answer: Mark explains and performs all the exercises. No women are featured in the videos but the workouts are geared towards men and women. There are different levels to choose from depending on your fitness level.

Answer: I have to be honest, there are elements of both workouts that I enjoy. However, if I have to choose I would go with volume II. The workout has a more up to date feel.

Question: What are the length of the workouts & is there a detailed program stating which workout cd to use for that day of the week? 30 or 60 day program
Answer: You Are Your Own Gym Vol ll program is based on progression and has 3 different programs for 3 different fitness levels. The videos are between 15 -25 minutes long depending on the fitness level. YAYOG VOL ll: use one program (one disc) in that fitness level (NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCE) each week. Monday's Timed Super set, Wednesday's Ladders, Friday's Circuit Training. Repeat this until you can keep up with good form then move up to the next level. I recommend starting with Novice and work your way up.
