| Answer: | This rack has a 1/2" hole for the pin. Lots of hitches have 5/8" holes/pins. You can use the "no-wobble" pin that they include (which is partly 1/2" and partly 5/8"), but then you need tools to put on/take off which is annoying. If you want to use an after-market key-locking trailer pin, you will likely have to drill out this bike rack's pin hole to 5/8" first. Not a great design choice in my opinion. |

| Answer: | It fits in my 2009 Wrangler with the spare tire. The spot on the inside of the rack on the tire side is a little tight, but you can definitely use it and fit a bike on the inside spit, just takes a little maneuvering. We use it on the Jeep with our 5 bikes all the time. The only issue is that you can't open the tailgate more than a few inches, even when the rack is lowered......but otherwise it is fine. |

The hitch insert--which fits 2-inch receiver hitches--is easy to operate and super secure for your bikes. Richard Allen (pictured left in 1972) started Allen Sports in his garage in 1967.
