BUt I still am concerned and have a question: The wobble bolt nut has a nylon thread to keep it from coming loose. But nylon threaded nuts are not designed to take on and off. The nylon loses its bite. Well, I need to take it on and off often. What is the recommendation from Allen?

Answer:	There are many factors that influence the speed over the Ethernet. Depending on the number and size of files, network card/switch interface speeds, Local disk speed, the jumbo frame setup,etc. With my ProSafe GST08T Gigabit managed switches (it is not expensive AND supports port teaming/bonding), with the right combination of the above I do reach 900Mb/sec i.e. 113MB/sec with no swet. It pretty much saturates the network connection. If you moved to 10Gb network, then you would saturate the server (unless, you put some SSD caching drives). As far as hardware is concerned, Synology is very nice. Also the OS is great. Only ONE thing missing for Windows users is a client backup provided by old WHS. It is simply THE BEST solution for windows shop. The reason I have been refusing to move out from Windows 7 up till now, is missing support for WHS in windows 10. Going to Windows Essentials 2012 is an option, but the license itself is $300 which is ridiculous.

Answer:	None of our racks are approved for use on a trailer mounted receiver hitch. Any trailer or trailered vehicle (including 5th wheel type) has a slight side to side motion that's very low frequency (1 to 1-1/2 times per second) that fatigues the steel from which the racks are manufactured. The fatigue first happens at a molecular level, but eventually (several thousands of cycles later) a visible crack will appear. Once the crack has formed, it will enlarge, finally to the point where the rack drops off the vehicle and the rack (and bikes) impact the roadway. This is also a dangerous situation for whoever may be following the trailer on the highway. We have seen 100+ incidents where the consumers/end user has not taken this advice and suffered disastrous results. I've even had phone calls from consumers who said they read that advice (do not use on a trailer) and ignored it, only to discover a tragic end result. So . . . don't do it. If you insist on doing it regardless of the above, please use some other companies’ rack.

Answer:	The rooster on the red one does not lock and falls off on windy days. I ended up holding the roof on by wrapping a heavy duty bungee cord around the Feeder. Problem is as the food level goes down it gets off kilter and it flips over. Cute idea but but i just threw two out because of so many problems.

Question:	So this is a weird question, but I'd like to take my bicycle with me on my commute. Can I lock my bicycle to the bike rack using a typical bike lock
Answer:	Some people are suggesting locking the bike to the car with a cable. It should be noted that ANY cable, even the thickest and most secure ones on the market, can be cut in seconds. A cable of any type is, at best, a deterrent to the casual thief. A serious thief loves cables because they are so easily cut. If you have an expensive bike, the only option worth considering is a U-bolt type of lock. Simply remove your bike from the car rack and lock it to a post. Even U-bolts can be defeated but the time and tools required will send all but the most determined thief looking for easier prey, like a bike with a cable.

Answer:	This rack (or any strap mounted carrier) should not be used on the Volvo XC models. The issue is that the top of the rear door on the XC's is made of extremely brittle fiberglass that can crack if anything (i.e. metal hooks or bike rack straps) is placed in the seem at the top of the rear door. We would recommend installing a receiver hitch on your vehicle and using a hitch mounted carrier.

Answer:	This shelf is strong enough for a LED/LCD computer monitor, however the rack width is only 19". A large monitor may not fit due to the width of the rack and height of the sides.
Question:	Does this shelf wobble at all
Answer:	Mine does not. I think the answer would depend on the type of rack and screws. If you were to install in a server rack (that does not have fixed threaded holes), then I'd think wobbling might be an issue. Mine is installed in a two-post telecom rack and it is solid.
Question:	What is the width of the shelf interior. ie what is the maximum width an object can have and still fit on the shelf
Answer:	Mine measures 17.75 inches across. I would allow no more than 17.50 inches if I were you. Another person estimated it at 18.00 inches, but mine measured just under that. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I don't know the exact dimensions off hand (as I have it installed in a rack), but I can tell you it uses two holes on the rail (hence "2U") and it allows wires to fit behind it (16" deep in a 19" closed rack). It comes with high quality mounting hardware (screws and nuts) and feels very solid. I'd buy another one if I needed it even though the one I got had a slightly bent corner as though it had been dropped or banged into something prior to shipping (I just bent it back very easily with some pliers and it has been perfect).
