Answer:	I cannot answer that with 100% certainty but the rack is incredibly versatile and should work fine. The only thing I would worry about with a Prius is the rear windshield wiper may be in the way of the top mounts. Normally, a spoiler causes the issues, but the spoiler on the Prius is subdued enough that it shouldn't come into contact. I'd say try it and if it doesn't fit, send it back. But if it will fit, you will love this rack. It is super stout and the price is right. After securing the straps on my car where they are as tight as possible, I zip-tied the remainder of the strap into a coil to prevent the straps from slipping and it has been riding strong for over a year with no adjustment needed. Question:	would I be able to use this for a child wheelchair
Answer:	I have used this to haul my dad's wheelchair a number of times. The best way I've found to carry it is to hang it upside down with one bar going through the wheels and the other supporting the frame. It tucks nicely behind my car and doesn't impact fuel economy.

Answer:	yes....there are settings on the transponder that you 'dial in' to customize for boundary radius. Read the directions carefully and block out a little time to be able to walk/adjust the boundary (and set flags for your dog), but it is really straightforward and easy.

Answer:	I have no idea what you mean by "middle square." The flat area on the top of the rack is about 11" long by 4" wide. That's a rectangle, not a square.

Answer:	OK. There is about 7.5 " from pinhole to 90 degree vertical upright bar; however, there is a fixed support brace that is angled to support upright bar that begins about 3 1/2 " from pinhole. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Probably​, because you will most likely need a 1-1/4" to 2" receiver adapter. Mine is on my Outback, and Subaru offers only a 1-1/4" hitch. The rack arm is kind of long to begin with, and with the extra length of the adapter, I can lift my back door without having to tilt the rack. It is a very solid connection, even with the extension, and doesn't wobble as much as most racks, because of the built-in hitch tensioner to lock down the rack inside the receiver.
Question:	Can you park all 6 bikes on one side or is it 3 on each side
Answer:	That's hard to answer with certainty because the answer depends on 3 factors: 1) the width of the tailgate, 2) the length of your hitch receiver, and 3) the height of your tailgate relative to the receiver. What I can tell you is this. The rack swings back at a 45 degree angle. On my vehicle, a BMW X3 with a normal vertical hatch, there is two feet between the closed hatch and the rack when I retract it back 45 degrees. There's also one foot between the bottom of the hatch and the receiver. That's plenty of clearance for my vehicle.

Answer:	I have no idea how the closetmaid shelves work; but, the basic rubbermaid concept is that the rail attaches to the wall and the individual brackets then attach to the rail. There are assorted brackets for specific uses like bikes, tools, weed wackers, etc.

Answer:	I don't know if it will fit a Honda Crosstour. I got it for a Toyota Prius 2007. I think it will fit any hatchback, it's quite easy to adjust the arms. I love this bike rack. I've put a road bike and a mountain bike on it at the same time. I took a long road trip with a bike on it and had no problems.
Question:	Is there a way to lock it to the car to prevent theft
Answer:	No. They can just cut the straps and take it. If you are in a sketchy place definitely take it off since only fabric straps keep it on. It is very secure when attached. I have left it on all night. But if someone was determined they could easily get it off your car. My advice is to lock it up inside a car or preferably a house.

Answer:	Sorry, but this will not work on a step-through bike.

Answer:	Harold, I used the bike rack on my 2011 Prius and the car showed no sign of damage. I was concerned because part of the frame rested on the rear window glass, but the bar is well padded and didn't scratch the glass. I put two adult hybrid bikes on it and it supported them fine.

Answer:	None of our racks are approved for use on a trailer mounted receiver hitch. Any trailer or trailered vehicle (including 5th wheel type) has a slight side to side motion that's very low frequency (1 to 1-1/2 times per second) that fatigues the steel from which the racks are manufactured. The fatigue first happens at a molecular level, but eventually (several thousands of cycles later) a visible crack will appear. Once the crack has formed, it will enlarge, finally to the point where the rack drops off the vehicle and the rack (and bikes) impact the roadway. This is also a dangerous situation for whoever may be following the trailer on the highway. We have seen 100+ incidents where the consumers/end user has not taken this advice and suffered disastrous results. I've even had phone calls from consumers who said they read that advice (do not use on a trailer) and ignored it, only to discover a tragic end result. So . . . don't do it. If you insist on doing it regardless of the above, please use some other companies’ rack.
