| Answer: | Yes they do rotate. I usually position the ones I don't need down when trying to load the bikes. For what it's worth, the rack has worked great so far. In particular the swing down feature of the bar giving access to the trunk is key. I only have 2 comments / small critiques. One, the cradles you use frequently become loose rather quickly so they don't stay in the up position. I have to rest the bike on the bar and adjust the cradles each time. Small thing. Second, once the cradles become loose the whole bike shifts a lot with the wind. You'll probably want to secure them with bungie cords especially for longer drives. |

I then bolted the BlockHeads into the 2x4 (I did two) and it worked perfectly. Two bikes in the bed with all sorts of gear also in the bed. The best part, is when the fun was over I could store the 2x4 for the next trip and use my whole truck bed as I normally would. This doesn't compromise the bed, and nothing rusts. Hope this helps. |

HITCH MOUNT - HANGING TILT RACK
Hanging racks tilt or swing out of the way to access your vehicle’s trunk or hatch. They’re great options for carrying multiple bikes (fit up to 5 bikes), but be aware of the type of bike - anything without traditional geometry may need a top tube adapter.
HITCH MOUNT - TRAY RACK
Tray racks can carry virtually any type of bike (and fit up 2 bikes or 4 with an extension). They offer more spacing between bikes to minimize interference and can either tilt or swing (with an adapter) out of the way while loaded.
