Answer:	I have had my Rikon for about 6 months, and have used it a lot. I still have the original sanding disc on it. It definately has served my needs. No negative comments on this tool.

Answer:	If you put too much pressure the material will break. It mostly for the stronger metals. We have used it for aluminum but again we don't put a lot of pressure. Hope this helps. It's a great sander and haven't had any problems

They are effective enough to use in confined marine areas on fiberglass. The attachment limits the use somewhat as you have to keep the disc flat on the surface. Check a good tool supply outlet. I purchased them locally at a well supplied hardware store.

Question:	What is the size of the base
Answer:	This can be a few problems. Did a piece of wood get jammed some where in the machine? Is there a damaged cord? To tight of a belt on it? Does the machine spin freely by hand? If so maybe you have a bad start capacitor on it. I would refer to the owners manual to see what else might be the problem. Generally if it won't start by turning it one but starts by spinning the belt its a start capacitator. Another thing to look at is a bad bearing or bad motor.

Question:	how many watts does the 1x30" draw
Answer:	Yes, this is compatible.
Question:	is there a belt included and, if so, what grit is it
Answer:	Hello. Yes it does have the wire support, but it doesn't seem to be an "original" part. Since the gap between the dustbag hole, and the male part of the belt sander is to wide. The sawdust just kept coming out at that particular place. I returned both the bags i had ordered, and haven't replaced it yet. Hope this comment was helpfull.

Answer:	Yes, the PORTER-CABLE 893626 will work with the PORTER-CABLE 363 type #7.
Question:	For sharpening mower blades and hedge shears what grit should i be using? They do not have to be knife sharp correct
Answer:	Not sure it will or will not work. My 4 x 24 belt sander is a Rockwell 363 and the belt fit and works great. Also my belt sander is about 40 years old.
