Answer:	It does come with the blade. The blade it comes with is meant for dry wood and has an evenly serrated edge. It still worked great on green wood. It is one little workhorse of a saw. I am glad I purchased it.

Answer:	I don't think the "5pack" notation was on the product picture when I bought the item. I think it is a mistake. Nominally it should mean you will get five of the item at this price, which would be a stinking cheap price per each, but not likely useful to most purchasers.I certainly did not receive five of anything when I purchased this item.

Answer:	What about aluminum? Will it cut it?-- yes, but with a different blade. Is it made of aluminum?-- yes, some of it is but made very sturdy.
Question:	Can I use a 12" diamond blade I already have and cut landscape pavers
Answer:	This saw has a 1" Arbor, so if your blade does as well, it will fit. While this saw is made for a 14" blade, it has adequate plunge to accommodate a 12" blade even though the width of material from the backstop won't be able to be as wide.
Question:	How does this (D28715) compare to the DW872 besides price
Answer:	The DW872, I believe, is about 10 pounds heavier, and heavier duty. The D28715 strictly uses abrasive wheels, which wear out. DR872 uses carbide tipped blade, which lasts longer, cuts faster, cuts thicker material, and supposedly gives you lower cost "per cut" because you're not wearing down and replacing abrasive wheels. Abrasive wheels are also known to break apart and fly all over the place. It's scary when that happens, and you learn quickly to hold your material to be cut firmly in the grip, and to not put any kind of torque onto it at all. When you do, you dig into the wheel and it breaks apart. I have the D28715, and I used it to make about 250 linear feet of iron railing. Used it for probably 1,000, mainly on 1/4 solid bar stock, but also on the railings, plus other stock for various projects. Went through maybe half a dozen abrasive wheels, which weren't very expensive. By comparison, one carbide tipped blade should have held out for the whole project.I'm very happy with the D28715. If I was a contractor looking at daily use, or I had a mountain of material I needed to cut quickly, I might consider DW872. But for home use, I wouldn't spend the extra 200 bucks.
