Answer:	Yes they can be used on both metal and wood, but depends on what kind of metal. The description says that they provide longer life when used with "non-ferrous" (non-magnetic) metals (such as aluminum). The bits would wear out fairly quickly if used on other types of metals.

Answer:	These drill bits have a 1/4” Quick-Change shank. They are designed for 1/4” self-lock chucks. If you have one of the gun-type electric screwdrivers with a 1/4” self-lock chuck, these prob would work. Look up the “Lanneret Electric Screwdriver Cordless” on Amazon. This is the type of screwdriver these bits would probably work with. If you need to do a lot of drilling, esp. into diff types of materials, you might be better off buying an elec drill. Most elec drills have torque settings and more powerful motors for drilling, and some come with bits - like the Black+Decker models on Amazon. Good luck!

Answer:	Standard bit hex, but I would secure in a full chuck and not the quick socket like a #2 Phillips. the torque from a spade bit will tear it loose and break your wrist. you could get away with it on the little bits, but over 1/4" I would use a real corded drill and a clamp down chuck.
