Answer:	Yes. With a diamond wheel, Drill Doctor will sharpen these solid carbide bits

Answer:	I don’t have experience drilling through paint, so I can’t be 100% certain. But these bits are very sharp, and drilling through steel I get clean precise holes. They’ll cut through en hardened steel pretty well. They are also very hard - carbide bits are easy to break. Go slow, use tapping or cutting oil if you can, and keep the drill perpendicular to the workpiece. If you twist or torque the bit it will probably break.
Question:	did anybody tried this on AR500 steel or similar very strong steel
Answer:	Yes, it cuts better than any other material I've found. However, carbide is VERY brittle, so the alignment of the point of engagement, and maintenance of concentricity with the intended hole are vital. These will chip or break much more easily than the typical HSS(high speed steel) drill bits.

What is the length of this drill bit

Answer:

The chart on the outside of the box is the best. I was able with a straight edge to cut out the individual bit details and peel the surface off the bulk of the cardboard. I made a new router bit box, and pasted each one of the cut-outs under the appropriate bit.Be careful to keep the bits organised so you know which cut-out one goes with each bit.You may be able to peel off the whole outside layer of the cardboard, and cut it down to printable sizes.A little tear here and there can be fixed with scotch tape, which won't show when printed.

Answer:	I don't know which part of the trunk you're talking about. I used them to drill through solid 10mm round rod. They worked well.

Answer:	They are average lengths. The 1mm is 3.4cm and length increase proportionally to the 10mm which is 5.4cm.
Question:	Do they work on wood
Answer:	They would work on wood but are a little "overkill". These are designed for hard metals.
