Question:	What is the recommended rams for this bit
Answer:	They have a layer of cushioning but they do not have more padding in the heel. The ProTech is the only Powerstep that has an extra cushion in the heel. However, the Pinnacle Maxx is a posted orthotic meaning it has a small lift in the heel which brings your heel at a higher level, taking pressure off of the heel. Plus with the arch support, this is a great orthotic for Plantar Fasciitis amongst other foot problems.
Question:	hows this do with steel mesh in concrete
Answer:	I found that the arch support in the Superfeet Black insole (and all other Superfeet models) was positioned too close to the heel. It felt like I had a marble in my shoe and very little support. The "rear position" arch issue has been a problem with several insole brands that I've tried. However, the Powerstep insoles seem to have the arch positioned perfectly for the shape of my foot. It's also just flexible enough be really comfortable while providing lots of support. Add the deep heel cup- and the Pinnacle Maxx has been the absolute best insole for correcting my arch/overpronation problems. Another issue with the Superfeet insoles has been the hard plastic molding's sharp edges digging into the footbed area of some shoes. The Powerstep insoles don't have that problem. The truth is that there are lots of factors (foot shape, arch height, pronation, etc...) and you just have to find what works for your situation. In my case, I've had the best results with Powerstep and Redi-Thotics and Remind brand insoles- mostly due to the position and shape of the arch. I hope that's helpful information for someone trying to figure out what try next.

I ended up purchasing a SDS plus adapter instead so I could use my core bit with a Bosch Bulldog SDS plus drill that has a rotation only mode. My Bosch SDS Max drill does not have a rotation only mode and turned out useless for core drilling.

The core size diameter is not listed. I used the 1-1/4 " size to drill through 7" of granite. The core was nice and smooth but broke off about every 2 to 3 inches which made for easier drilling. Maybe with a larger size the core would hold up better.

Answer:	These bits are for SDS drills and I purchased them along with my Dewalt Hammer SDS Drill. These bits work very well in concrete and brick. I would purchase other bits if I had a cordless drill that wasn't an SDS drill. Cordless drills don't work very well on concrete, brick or rock and the bits don't last as long, so you might want to get a hammer drill for those projects.
Question:	what side is the sds shank
Answer:	SDS bits need a SDS rotary hammer (drill), SDS -PLUS units can use SDS or SDS- PLUS bits, as the SDS-PLUS is just a slightly improved version and the same diameter at the Chuck end. SDS-MAX bits are larger and can only compatible with SDS-MAX rotary hammers. Spline Rotary hammers require splined bits. Round shank and hex shanked masonry bits are for lighter use in a regular drill type hammer drill, not a rotary hammer. That should clarify all the options; (unless you go back to a very, very old tool when some manufacturers actually had proprietary systems; but you never see them around anymore).
